There was a series called Fruits Basket, about a orphan called Tohru Honda meet a cursed family called the Sohmas, cursed because they transform into the Chinese Zodiac. Kyo is the outsider, because his animal is the cat. Theres a legend who the Zodiac came to be, and the cat was left. One way the Sohma family transform is being hugged by the other gender.

Oh. Fruits Basket seemed a little too light-hearted for me.

I'm more into action manga, like Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Drive, and Rurouni Kenshin.

Kenshin's my all-time favorite series, though. ^^

Tsubasa Reservior Chronicle is about two characters from Card Captor Sakura, Sakura and Syaoran. Sakura's memories became feathers, Syaoran with Korugane and Fai, try to look her memory feathers.
