The Half-Gods

Leah saw Demetrio collapse and gasped, "We're getting out of here now! I can't carry you both though and I'm not leaving him" She told Takou as she flew down to Demitrio "The monster's weak outrun him. I'll carry him to saftey and return for you, now go!" She wrapped her arms around him and picked him up, wincing with effort. As she picked him up, he became invisible too, allowing him to see her as well. She took a deep breath and smiled, causing her to float up with him. She was slower than before but she flew away from them at a fair speed.

Kansu roared as the undead disappeared and turned to the boys, just in time to see one of them vanish. He began to move towards the remaining one though he was weaker from the fight and moved slower.

 

*Shiit* Takou turned on his heels and ran away from Kansu. *The further away i get the less dangerous it is for Leah*

 

Sylis was atop a building now the other Murew was weak and so where the others he smiled prepared to attack.

Zele heard noise and hid behind some trucks.

 

Leah flew up carrying Demitrio in her arms, both of them invisible. She looked briefly down at him with concern before looking up to figure out where to go. She was aware the other Murew had seemed to dissappear, and knew that it could be anywhere. She wanted to land as soon as she could but she didn't know where it was. She flew straight up, keeping away from the sides of the buildings. She flew up above the buildings, determined to stay positive as that was the only way she could still fly.

Kansu chased after the boy but dropped further behind by the second.

 

Takou heard the monsters footsteps and sped up, fearing that he could die any second.

 

Kansu, with a final terrifing roar, fell back and retreated, disappearing into the city. He vowed to his revenge and wipe that boy of the face of this world once and for all.

Leah meanwhile was flying high above the rooftops, however her invisibility was not reassuring her and as her spirits dropped, she dropped in the sky. She needed a safe place to land but as long as she did not know the where abouts of the other Merew, no where seemed safe. She briefly thought of Takou and hoped he was okay.

 

Takou heard the roar and ducked into a nearby doorway.

 

Leah dropped further as she grew further paranoid, she knew she if she kept dropping at this rate she would be forced to land soon. In a way she hoped the Murew would just appear because then at least she'd know where it was. She didn't know where she was now or how far she had gone. She was losing energy too, she looked down at Demetrio in her arms, what was she going to do?

 

Takou watched the skies for a glimpse of where Leah was headed. If he could see her he could figure out a way of leading the monster of her scent before returning.

 

Leah looked down at the ground far below, searching for any sign of Takou. She realised he wouldn't be able see her but if she became visible one more, so would the Murew. She decided it was a risk worth taking to find Takou. It might make the Murew appear, so they know where it is and it couldn't get her, she was still flying. With this she rose a little in the air, took a deep breath and became visible. That actually took a lot of effort as she automatically went invisible when she was scared.

 

Takou scanned the skies and saw her suddenly reappear.

 

Leah spotted Takou and smiled, he was unharmed. The Murews still were nowhere to be seen, she wasn't sure if that was a good thing. Still, she didn't want to lose him again so, she floated down slowly and actually very gracefully to Takou's side.

 

Sylis crawled through streets sniffing he left that group to themselves and went after Zele.

 

Takou smiled at her. "You go on ahead and try and find somewhere safe from up there, I'll carry this guy" he said pointing at Demetrio.

 

Leah nodded, carefully passing Demetrio to him, "Okay, he's heavy though. Be careful, I don't want to lose you" She hugged him from the side as Demetrio was in the way. She smiled, took a step back and floated up into the air, suprised how much easier it was without Demetrio's weight.

 

He hauled Demetrio up onto his back and walked forwards, watching Leah in the skies.

 

Leah flew on ahead at a fair speed although still keeping them in veiw. Her eyes quickly scanned the ground below searching for somewhere safe. She frowned slightly as she realised she didn't actually know what sort of thing to look for but still that made her more determined to find somewhere safe.

 

Takou ran after her on the ground below.

 

Nox after collecting his wits, desiding he was hallusinating due to lack of sleep, calling a cab, riding for about 20 minutes and getting into a bar. Was sitting quietly with a glass of scotch.

 

Leah's eyes scanned the ground below her and came to rest on what appeared to be an abanoned warehouse, it was next to a bar but it looked like the sort of place no one would check. She smiled slightly, that might work. She flew back to Takou, "I think there's an abandoned warehouse up ahead, it's next to a bar so be quiet but I think it might be safe"
