I do the same, I care about the commercials far more than the game(They've got a hilarious one with Jay Leno in it this year, and another Star Wars themed car commercial).
I actually watch college football, my family is big on it, but I've never cared for the pros.

 

Those commercials are the best! I loved the lassie truck commercial from last year. XD
