Good news everyone; I actually knew about Marushi's break-up with Dr Pepper before any of you did, and therefore I began working on my latest weaponry modification.
I call it the Pepper Spray.
Using a filtration/diffusion system, I've managed to separate and weaponize the fizz of carbon-based sodas, creating a weapon that fires pure fizz at our enemies. Due to the nature of the chemical reactions within the soda, this means that we now have the only weapon that can cause rust in space.

 

Rust is caused by oxygen. Fizz has carbon dioxide.

We're vampires that travel through space living on nothing but soda and nutrient tablets. Making a giant rust gun from our ex-favourite drink is child's play.

 

Touché. Does it rust titanium alloys? Because most spaceships are made out of that because of it's strength and non-rustability.
