Shirokiba sighed. "Alright then. I guess we could wander for a bit..."
"Or at least make our way back to town. We have a place there, and you're welcome to stay with us for a while. That way, you could see Jordyn when you feel up to it," Kuro said.
"By the way...what's your name?"

 

"Oh.. My name is Kiara," she said standing up.
"I have a few errands to run in town, I'll catch up later..." she said softly.

 

"Kiara...okay. Well, here's our address if you need anything," Shiro said, pulling out a small piece of paper. He also took out a pen and wrote the address down.
He handed it to her saying, "If you get into any trouble...we'll probably hear a shout from a somewhat far distance. Though I don't think there's any demons around right now."

 

Frank sat down beside Jordyn.

 

Jordyn smiled and looked closely at him.
"That makes me happy," she said.

Kiara nodded, but still felt uncertain.
"Watch your backs," she said smiling, taking the piece of paper with the address.

The siblings turned away from Kiara. Kuro shuddered suddenly.
She whispered,"Do you sense something, Shiro...?"
"...Hn."

Kurokiba shrugged. "Should we go back home, or should we go check on Jordyn and Frank?"
"Let's go home...but allow Kiara to go towards town first," Shirokiba said.

 

"I'm glad you're happy." he said, starting to lean toward her.

 

Kiara walked out of the forest and into the concrete of the town. She made it to the gates and looked around. She hopped over the fence and into the town. No bother going through the gates, it took forever to open them up. She walked towards a shop. She needed some supplies to make her potions.

Jordyn blushed and leaned back instead. He had already told her he loved her and that was enough excitement for today. Her face flushed around her cheeks, and her lips curled into a curve on curiousness.

David walked through the town, memorizing faces, and looking at their pasts. That was one of his abilities. He could see others pain and misery. That's all it took to become the form of them, which was his power. He could shape shift into any person or demon, as long as he could read their past. The only person he can't see, is his life mate, which he had yet to find. But his life mate would be different. He could already shape shift into his lifemate, but won't know her until he finds her. He wasn't even trying though, he just wanted to have his own fun. He spotted a girl that hopped the fence and watched her closely. He could tell that was a girl, who had misery stored in her mind.

 

He noticed her lean back away from him, and sat back. She's not ready yet. he thought. That's fine, I can wait.

 

Jordyn cleared her throat slightly. Her nerves were a little jumpy.
"Sorry," she said, brushing her hair away from her face. Her eyes lit up.
"Where's Kiara?" she asked, suddenly worried.

 

Kurokiba and Shirokiba wandered back to their apartment.
After a few minutes of silence, Kuro said, "...Hey Shiro...what d'you think Jordyn and Frank are doing?"
"Why would I know...?"
She shrugged, then grinned. "Maybe they decided to-"
"Stop talking, Kuro. You're giving me a headache," Shiro said.
"So? I have to put up with your inability to do anything mildly exciting, like going for a rooftop run."
Shiro closed his eyes and growled, "That's because we'd probably get killed if someone saw us, and don't say that I'm like Dad was by being serious about my life."
"...Yeah. Whatever," Kuro mumbled.
Her brother thought, "After all these years...why are we still haunted by our pasts?"
He sighed. He felt like kicking himself, but he decided to unlock their apartment's door instead.

 

Kiara made it to an open stand and started talking with the merchant, getting some supplies and such. Her attention then turned to some person who had come stand by her, leaning on the wall. "Can i help you?" Kiara asked. His eyes seemed dark and lost, behind the sunglasses he wore. He even looked like the mass murderer type of guy.


David had laughed slightly under his breath, making it a chuckle.
"Why yes you can. I'm looking for a lost pet and was wondering if you could help me find it," he said, lying right through his teeth. All he wanted was her alone. Maybe he could have a little fun with her. Maybe torture her first, then kill her, then go turn everyone against each other that knew her. That was usually his playing field. He could read her like a book, and he got shot down again, and trying to find his life mate.

 

"It's okay." he said. "I don't know where she is. She didn't follow us, Kiro and Shuro went after her though."

 

"I'm worried about her," she said softly.

Kiara took one look at the man and took a slight breath. Why had she asked her? Out of every person her, he had to ask her. She shrugged slightly.
"Sorry, I can't help you," she said and watched him stare at her.

David grimaced, and scowled.
"Listen, I need some help, so either you can help me, or...." he started saying, before her eyes became saddened. He could tell he was frightening her...
"Umm, what i meant was," he said sighing a little with a slight chuckle

"Stay away from me.. I mean it," she said then started walking away.

 

"Do you want to go look for her?" he asked.

 

Jordyn nodded and stood up.

Kiara got to the gates and jumped the fence again, putting her supplies in her bag. She looked back making sure she wasn't followed. She then headed into the forest.

David snuck up in front of her, giving her an awe in her eyes. Her gasp caught him off guard and he got close to her, and put both his hands around her neck firmly.
"I could kill you right here and now if you don't do what i say," he whispered to her ear softly.

Kiara noded her head slowly, starting to panick.

 

"Let's go." he said, heading out the door.

 

Jordyn headed out the door with him.

Kiara took a slight shudder once she felt some sort of pressure against her neck and she fell limp.

David pulled her body over his shoulder and started running. He knew where an abandoned cave was.

 

"Do you have any idea where she might be?" he asked.

 

"No," she said softly.

David finally found the cave. He moved the big stone, and laid her body down gently. He got her past in his mind and shape shifted into her body. He smiled and got out, pushing the stone back in place. He then set out to find the one named Jordyn.
