The Demon's Crystals

Back in the cave, Kuro growled out, "Dammit Shio, get a hold of yourself!"

Shirokiba simply snarled viciously and leapt at his sister. Kuro barely dodged the huge wolf, and was caught off guard when he pivoted in the air to face her as he landed. Kuro felt strong jaws latch onto her left arm.
"Rrg...sorry about this Shiro, but..." she trailed off as she punched her brother hard in the side of the head. He yelped but held fast. She repeated the action, this time successfully.

Shiro's mind had one thing running through it: Kill everything in sight.
He intended to do just that; Kuro or not. His own sister's life meant nothing now. The sheer power running through his veins was enough.
He growled in okami to his sister, Go on, little Kurokiba, try and kill me. You won't be able to, since you're just a weak hanyou at the moment. But you know your power...
He was cut off by a snarl. "Shut up. I'm not going into my youkai state to bring back my brother. And right now, you aren't Shirokiba. I have no regrets."
She drew both katanas and bared her canines, waiting for her brother to pounce.

 

She chuckled again softly.
"You're right. I'm letting the demon take over again. But in this one, I'm in charge. My demon just gives me the strength and mind," she chuckled.

 

"I don't believe that!" he shouted. "You, the real you, would never harm a friend! All this form has given you is power and a blood lust!"

 

"You don't believe me then," she said, not somewhat depressing, but rather annoyed.
"so.. You know, that the demon is standing here, talking to you. and that Jordyn is also talking to you. She had control of her emotions only.. I give her everything else. You want to speak to Jordyn? Then so be it.. She'll be fully under my control.. and it'll be your blood, that I'm after," she hissed. Her eyes faded from red, to a blue light color and she dropped to her knees, spreading her arms out as that was her support.

 

He ran over to her and helped her up. "Are you alright? Are you back to normal?" he asked her.

 

All she could do was nod. Her body felt limp and all the power seemed drained.
"Frank..This is something, i have to do," she said.

As the siblings continued to fight each other, Kurokiba realized she was fighting an uphill battle. Still, she pressed on. After several minutes, both Shiro and Kuro were bleeding quite badly.
Kuro's injuries were bites and scratches, and she knew that if they weren't treated they would become infected.

Her brother's wounds were of swords, but his demon blood wouldn't allow him to feel pain. In one movement, he charged at his sister and smashed against her, sending her flying out of the cave.

BIC: "What is it? What do you need to do?" he asked her.

IC:
Kurokiba whimpered when she hit the ground outside. She rolled onto her stomach and looked around dazedly. She spotted Jordyn and Frank.
She growled in pain, then spoke. "You guys...you have to get out of here now. I won't be able to hold Shirokiba off much longer. Run while you still have your lives!"

As she said this, the huge white wolf that was Shiro emerged from the cave. The moonlight illuminated his fur and the blood clinging to it, making him look more like a true demon than ever.

 

"Alright" he said. "Come on Jordyn, we have to leave."

OOC: I'm gonna head to bed too. See ya.

 

OOC: G'night! I'm probably gonna go in a few too.

IC:

Kuro turned back to her wolf brother. She felt strange; her wounds were bleeding badly, but she didn't feel the pain completely.
She did feel her canines and claws growing, though. She assumed the black fang shaped marks on her face were there, but she didn't feel the mental demonic shift. There was no instinct to kill.
She felt like herself, just...purified, one could say.
"What...happened?"

 

jecht opened his eyes rubbing the bumb oh his head
"geeze that hurt"
he looked to see jordyn he could sense demon energy retreting back into her
"idiot you tried to use your demons strength didnt you"

 

Jordyn whimpered and shook her head no, as Frank wanted ti get her out of there.
"No. Leave me," she said. She looked up and at Jecht.. Listening to him.
"No... I tired, to make amends with her," she strained.

 

"I'm not going to leave you behind! I'll carry you if I have to!" he said, picking her up.

 

Jordyn felt herself lifted.
"Put me down, I'm just as good as dead," she said.

 

"No. I won't leave you behind!" he said.

 

"I said, put me down! Leave me behind!" she shouted at him.

 

"Sorry, I can't do that." he said. He started running away from the cave with her in his arms.

 

"Stop!" she shouted. She pushed him away and she fell to the ground, hitting it roughly, letting out a small gasp. Her eyes changed back red, and now she was angry.

 

"Are you okay?" he asked her, running to her side.
