The Demon's Crystals

Ed felt something pulling him down and sit on him. THe breath flew out of him.

"To stop us from falling. You ran into me," he huffed as he regained his breath.

 

"You could've just moved ya know," she said. She took a slight sigh and blew her hair out of her face. She got off him and offered her hand out to help him.
"I'm sorry. I've just been paranoid about my transformation..." she said.

 

He eyed her warily before nodding and taking her hand. Hers felt cold to him because he was a hawk's teperature. He lifted himself off the ground and stood there, his wings curved around his bare chest a little to keep the wind from entering.

 

She felt his warm hand and noticed him stand up as she helped him slightly. She took a small step back, examining him. Her looked so.. beautiful, she must admit. With his wings. It made her smile.
"Umm. I don't believe we ever umm... introduced ourselves yet?" she asked slightly. She smiled.
"I'm Jordyn," she said.

 

He cracked a tiny smile.

"Well my full name is Edmondus Caliga Corien but you can call me Ed."

As he watched her stare, he remembered about his shirt.

"Sorry, when I unfold my wings, it rips my shirt, I try to carry an extra but I don't have one this time."

"Kuro...that scent..."
"Same from the rooftop, ne?" Kuro replied.
"Indeed. I've yet to match a name to that scent."
"No time like the present, then," she said as she grabbed the fire escape and began to swing herself up.
"You're reckless, Sister," Shiro said.
"...I know. Makes life worth living."

They continued up.

 

jecht kept running pulsing his aura to leave a trail he ran into a cave

 

"I see," Jordyn smiled. She felt alot better now knowing who he was. She smiled and she looked up in the air, and she could feel a trail of aura pulsating. She felt it in her own heartbeat.
"I'm sorry about the trouble I caused you," she said. She took a few steps over until she was at the edge and she looked back.
"I'll see you some other time," She said. She then took a deep breath. Jumping off the side of the building and actually running down the side. At the bottom, she jumped off the side and landed safely on the ground. She smiled and ran towards the forest. She ran on the trail, looking for the cave which she could feel his aura pulsate in

 

Ed sighed as she jumped down. The wind blew hard and Ed fanned out his wings to their full length, feeling a little less angry. He was a sight to behold for hawks wings are beautiful and his were nearly six feet wide.

 

Frank followed Shiro and Kuro on the ground, since he couldn't jump from building to building.

 

jecht sensed jodyn coming
"maybe this time"

 

Jordyn kept running and running. She thought she had gotten lost or something, but she could feel his aura pulsate greatly. She came upon a cave, where the aura pulsated mostly..
"Hello?" she asked softly.

 

"your here"
jecht walked toward her
"i need to talk to you"

 

Jordyn saw him.. She took a deep breath, slowly and nodded.
"What about?" she asked. She could feel her aura rising slightly as she got nervous. Her demon was trying to get out...

 

jecht closed his eyes
"you and me are alike but you arent at your full power yet"
he opened his eyes they were red and black again
"let me see into your soul"

 

Jordyn took a slow step back, and she felt her eyes turn red also. Something in her was rising...
"If it will help me, then go ahead," she said.

 

jecht focused on her looking into her soul he saw two souls that were linked but werent one but should be
"you you resist the power of you demon half"
he looked at her
"why?"

 

She took a deep breath.
"Because when i don't resist.. She comes out," she said.

 

jecht laughed
"she you speak as if this demon half is a completely different person"
jecht pointed to himself
"look at me im in demon form and im still me the demon half is just the truest part of your emotions"

 

Kuro and Shiro came to a stop near the cave entrance. They were downwind, eliminating the ability for them to be smelled out. Both focused their auras to an absolute minimun, evading detection.

"What now, Shiro? You have a plan?" Kuro asked.
"Yeah. We stay here and wait. If anything goes wrong, well...we'll stop it. Just listen for now. We may pick up some information about who the hell this guy is."
"And why he's leaving his aura all over the place?"
"Exactly."

The two listened in silence, wolf ears twitching at the various pre-nightfall sounds.
