The Demon's Crystals

He ran outside and chased after her.

 

Ignoring the fact that the window was the exit route again, Shirokiba cursed almost as fluently as his sister.
"This...is bad. We need to be fully prepared for anything this time," Kuro said.
Shiro's eyes flashed molten gold for the briefest moment. "Yes...I should be fine...but you..."
He trailed off, leaving his sister more annoyed. "I what?"
"Use the necklace. The one left to us by Mother."
"Dammit, you think I'll lose control?" Kurokiba was growling now.
"I don't know. If those crystals affect Jordyn like that, who knows what it'll do to us. You're still struggling with your demon blood. You are more dangerous. And if things get really bad, you could probably put it on Jordyn."
Kuro sighed and nodded in agreement. They both got their weapons, Shiro with stronger sutrasand Kuro with their mother's necklace around her neck; the pendant was the likeness of a wolf.

Landing on the street below, they saw Frank running after Jordyn. They followed suit and were soon catching up to him.

 

Jordyn laughed, runnings faster than she could. She looked around at the town, looking at every angel and every street. She chuckled, jumping up high onto a rooftop, and she stayed up there, needing to focus on her plan for the following moments. She sat down and tried to think. The demon in her needed more blood. Her own wouldn't satisfy it. Or, the sutra's gotten it angry, and forced its way out. It's not her blood that is making her like this. Even though, her body was taken by the demon, she could still almost take full control. She pulled the crystal out of her pocket. She wanted to throw it, far far away, but she could Already tell that wasn't going to happen. She stuck it back in her pocket, and continued the chase on the rooftops

 

OOC: Cupcake, your dog is so cute. xDD
And for the record, I now know what it's like to get punched in the stomach really hard. ^^;;
Note: Ushitora means "Ox-tiger" in Japanese, which is the direction of northeast.

IC:
"Frank! We're going on ahead!" Shiro shouted as he and Kuro leaped past him.
The siblings' noses were sniffing and their ears were twitching the whole time, trying to sense where Jordyn had gone.
Suddenly Shiro growled, "Found her. Elevated area. Direction of Ushitora."
"Gotcha. Let's go!" and with that, the two increased their speed in her direction.

Jordyn could hear the siblings. She chuckled. She wasn't even at half the speed yet. She kicked it up a notched and jumped through more rooftops, getting high and higher each time. She could see alot of things, and she was smiling about that. The only smile being the destruction of the town. It made her just edgy. She finally got to the top of a really great building. About thirty stories. She chuckled, waiting for the siblings. She had a plan in mind.

 

OOC: Ah...I see. But still, she's adorable. x3

Jordyn's demonic aura slammed into the siblings as they neared her. She was extremely fast; almost disturbingly so, but the two pressed on. And cringed when they felt the full force of her aura hit them.
Kurokiba growled. "She stopped? Why-"
She then noticed her brother's expression. He only used it when he was particularly stressed or thinking very hard. She knew better than to interrupt him. Kuro saw him switch his naginata for his bow.
"I hope you know what you're doing..." she thought as their sharp eyes caught sight of Jordyn.
Moments later, they faced her.

 

Jordyn awaited their arrival. Now was the moment of truth for her. Her plan, was to fall. And never stop falling. Nothing could stop her. Not even the demon. Because one false step could even mean her falling off. She would control herself now. She wouldn't be afraid anymore, of the demon inside her... She wouldn't be afraid!

"Shiro... Kuro," she said, still in her somewhat trance. She looked at the two of them. Still in her demonic state.
"Have fun, watching her die," she said again. The demon inside her, will always be there, but her body will lose its life. The only thing available to take over, would be the demon inside her.

 

OOC:Perfect, just the opportunity I wanted this is where the crystals in my pic come in

BIC: Edmondus, who had been watching from the shadows, felt it was time to step in.

This girl is either crazy or a stunt junkie...or both.

He lunged at the girl and let his wings expand, enfolding them both.He smiled and withdrew two crystals from his pockets.

"By the power of the Onyx gem, be soothed beast," He held out the red gem.

"And by the power of the Moonstone, may you rest," He stuck out the other gem.

A power pulsated around them, shuddering his feathers.

OOC: Ok basically the red/Onyx gem calms her demon for at least 5 hours and the blue/Moonstone gem puts them to sleep, interpret that how you want to ^_^

 

Jordyn watched as some sort of person had come up and started casting some sort of spell. That is what it looked like to her, but whatever it was, was pointless. She felt nothing different, only, the beast was gone. Her eyes had gone back normal and back blue again, and she felt so calm again. The beast had gone away for a while. She chuckled softly and felt her knee's give out, and she fell back, off the building, now falling towards the ground. Her heart sank and it felt like a roller coaster as she began to fall. Was this really the end? Damn that stupid demon inside her

But why would the demon even lead her there? Did the demon want her to fall down? Maybe that was her goal. When she was dead, the demon would take over. No more problems out of the human. It made her think more. She felt too weak now to turn and grab a pole or something on the way down. It was thirty stories after all. Maybe, she would die, and the demon would wreak havoc on the town, but why stop there?

Maybe the demon would even hurt her friends. No.. She wouldn't let that happen. She wouldn't! Her eyes started to pulsate, a rather purple color now. She felt no demonic aura, but she felt power. It came from the crystal. It was a power that she had never felt before. Maybe, all she needed was faith.. The faith to help her friends. She wouldn't leave them without a fight

She watched the fall as she grew more and more closer to the ground. Her eyes filled with tears. She had to think fast, but it was hard. Her body still felt so tired, and so weak. She grabbed onto a flagpole and held on tightly. It was hard. Very hard. She let out a small gasp as she looked down and saw it was still too much of a high jump. Maybe about five more stories. The fall seemed short though..

"Shiro....Kuro..." she said softly. She knew they couldn't hear her, but it was worth a try. The power in her grew even more, as she felt herself getting stronger. The weakness felt as if it passed over her, and that she could now feel a light presence over herself. Though she thought, her new friends would probably jump too, to save her. Gladly she hoped none of them would, because she grabbed the flagpole. She felt one of her fingers slip, and her whole body jerked down.

"No!" she shouted aloud. It wasn't fair now! The demon in her had made her go this far. The demon was making her pay. Why!? What did she ever do to it!? When she dies, the demon is free, to kill Shiro... Kuro.... Frank.... all her loved ones. She couldn't even bear the thought. Another one of her fingers slipped.

"Stop!" she shouted. please, just make her fingers stay on the pole. She tried to reach up with her other hand, but it was a worthless try as she couldn't bear to move another muscle, She whimpered as she felt one more finger let loose. All it came down to, was her last finger, which slowly scrapped against the edge, until it slipped, and she started falling again.

 

"...What the @#$* was that?!" Kurokiba roared.

Instant distrust taking root, she growled vicously at the newcomer. Dangerously, she spoke between her sharp fangs. "Who are you, why are you here, and WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!"
Snarling, Kuro's truly bestial side started to emerge. Her katanas were already drawn.

Shiro intervened, hoping that his sister would calm down, albeit slightly. "Peace, Kurokiba, peace."
He turned to the man, bow strung and pointed at his heart. "But you'd best have a good reason...I've had many years' worth of marksmanship. Put her down, if you know what's good for you."

OOC: Sorry for the long post...and the part that's in caps is supposed to be italicized, but coding it is hard to do on my phone's keyboard.

 

Frank had trouble keeping up with them. Soon he lost them all together.

Jordyn felt the wind beneath her. She just kept falling and she just smiled as if She were happy. The power that pulsated in her wasn't bad, nor evil. It was actually. Good, thankfully. It was hard though, trying to face the fact that she was falling and that she couldn't save herself. She felt a flagpole hit her, right in the back of the head on the way down, and she felt herself start to bleed.

"No... No!" she shouted. She put her hands on the back of her head. She wouldn't let the demon out again. It wasn't fair.. She felt her heart pulsate, and her eyes fighting over purple or red now. She felt the wind stop and a huge slam in he back. It was hard to breathe now. Her thoughts cleared away and the pulse of her heart had stopped. The darkness soon took control of her eyes, and she couldn't see. Her head tilted to the side with her eyes closed softly. She could feel herself dying, which was exactly what she wanted.

Or was it what she wanted? No.... The demon... Its what the demon wanted. Damn her.. If she had actual care of herself, then maybe she wouldn't be dying here on the ground from a large building. She felt one heartbeat. Maybe.. She wasn't dead... Just, a little shook. She felt another heartbeat.

No.... The Demon... Was it making her heart beat? Or was it the wondrous power that had tried to help her? She cracked her right eye open softly, and looked around, seeing the purple aura. It was the wondrous power who had saved her, and for that, she was thankful for the best thing that had happened to her lately.

 

Kuro cursed. Without thinking, she took a running leap off the building.
"JORDYN!" she roared as the wind lashed her as she dove headfirst.
Seeing his sister jump, Shiro growled. He never let his attention stray from the man before him.

Kuro saw Jordyn's body on the ground below. "No..."
She landed silently beside Jordyn. "Jordyn! You alive? Answer me!"

 

Jordyn could feel the presence of someone else next to her. Someone who called out her name. Her body felt limp, and her head hurt terribly. She could speak.. Quite well actually. She shook her head and sat up slowly.
"Yes.. I'm okay," she said. She seemed different. A purple aura brightened her up, and she smiled.
"I feel. More power.. and I feel.. not so evil," she said. She raised her hand up to her view and saw the aura, just fluttering around. It made her smile.

 

Kurokiba let out a breath; more of a sigh of relief than anything.
"Damn...you really gave me...us, rather, a good scare."
She saw the aura around Jordyn's hand. Sniffing the air, she sensed that indeed, an evil aura had been lifted.

Kuro grinned, exposing one of her sharp canines. "Well. Not being evil's a great thing. But I swear...I may really put you on a leash or something. First your stomach, now your head? Geez...We'll probably run out of bandages soon." She forced a chuckle in an attempt to lighten the fact that Jordyn had fallen from a tall building.
She offered her hand to Jordyn to help her up.

 

She smiled, then forgot about the bleeding in the back of her head. She put her hand on the back of her head, and pulled it to view. It wasn't bleeding as bad, but still slightly.
"My head is okay, not that bad. It'll heal on its own," she said. She saw Kuro offer a helping hand. She smiled and took her hand, helping herself up.

 

Kuro helped pull Jordyn up. "You sure you're gonna be okay with that head injury? It'd suck to have you pass out all of a sudden."
Glancing up the building they had both jumped from, she sensed that Shiro was still there, as well as the one that had done...whatever he did to Jordyn. She had questions, and he had better have answers. Kuro subconsiously cracked her knuckles.
"So! Shall we take the stairs up, or should we just jump?"

 

jecht continued to watch and let his aura pulsate
"now then lets see how good you are"
he closed his eyes

 

"Whichever you prefer," she said smiling. She felt another sense of aura pulsate through her mind. She could sense it. That boy from earlier. She turned back.
"I feel something," she said to herself. She wondered where he was. She sensed the direction it came from.
