Site News The criteria for becoming premium

was pretty unorganised before, and not many people were completely clear on it. So here's a thread to officially set things straight. Some people thought you had to have the right amount of both posts and reputation points, and some thought only one of those was needed. I also heard some different numbers for the amount of rep needed. 50, 50-75 (lol?), 75 or 100.

So... in order to get it into a more organised state, we've decided that both 100 rep and 1000 posts will be needed to become a premium member (I personally thought this was the case anyway, but then I noticed that a lot of prems didn't meet these specifications). You also have to have been a member for at least 60 days.

Speaking of the prems who don't currently fit the criteria... they will have to be removed (once an admin can get their butt in gear, that is), since it would unfair to keep them there, sorry guys. All in all, 23 prems will be removed.

Soooo, if you're pink and you have less than 1000 posts and/or 100 rep, your days are numbered!

 

It was fun being premium for half of my time here.

Oh well. Guess I can't be premium anymore.

It's rules like this that help keep people like you away from having a pink name.

 

I doubt I'll ever reach it now.

 

Just stay a regular member. It's not healthy to strive for a pink name with little extra privileges.

Well, looks like I'll be premium in another year. Hopefully premium will mean something besides access to another spam zone.

 

Oh well, my name would just look weird in pink. Especially since I'm trying to make my user profile look like Cloud's nobody.

WHAT THE HELL!!!
I seriously worked my *** off to become premium! I have been involved in so many things, I thought a had a little word in the color change arguement, but now, just because you want to move up a post count reqirement, that, if I wasn't so lazy around here, I would have! Well, maybe you should consider my join date, which is 1 YEAR AGO, I have been a COMPLETELY ACTIVE member here for OVER A YEAR now. I think I still deserve premium.

I thought 100 rep and 1000 posts was always the case ever since you guys changed It because there were too many pink names o_o

Anyway, I think this rule Is fair, seeing as though there were like, 10 people becoming pink a day

Just a bummer for me because I'm a lazy bum and most of the time I cant be stuffed posting xD
