The City Incased In Snow

Crescent landed on the snowy ground. This place.....I-It... can't be!Suddenly, memories flooded her thought and tears trickled down her cheeks. I remember it so well... mother's garden... I promised her I'd keep it beautiful.. I promised!.. This is all because of this cursed snow! Damn it...

 

Tai slammed into the back of Crescent and fell into the ground with his head firm into the ground.

 

Crescent coughed a bit then looked at Tai. "Head stuck in the snow, eh?" she laughed then pulled his head out.

 

"I'm okay!" His voice muffed as his hand moved up and down trying to grab Crescent's.

 

Z shook his head and smiled back at Jordyn. "Lets get inside," He let go of her and walked over to put his mask back on. He did. "I gotta keep this on, I'm gonna be the sudden one who's going to be pelted with attacks if I show my face to anyone...except you." He sighed and looked at her. "I just hope I get to be by your side for the time being, until either one of us dies by something, a monster maybe." He smiled under the mask, he knew she didn't want it, he knew that this mask made him feel different, different in some aspects of nature. "By the way, I wanna know...what made the snow fall like this when I left, Jody?" He had said the name he gave her as a pet name, nothing new about him. He laughed as he saw the look on her face.

 

Crescent laughed more then seized his hands. "You always get yourself into trouble" She slowly pulled him up.

 

Tai's head "Popped" from the ground as he shoke the snow off. "That's just me...Your GetYourselfintroubleeveryday rock star...I think." Tai replied trying to make her laugh.

 

Crescent shoved a cookie into his mouth. "I-I.. I made that for you! I hope you like it!" she bent her head down then blushed

"I can honestly say that I don't know," she frowned. It was a mystery to her how it always continued to fall. She could only imagine what could cause that.
She looked at his mask and frowned. She wished he wouldn't wear it. She loved his eyes most of all. So she could see the depth in them when they talked. She pulled her palm against his, letting the tips of her fingers linger on his palm. She walked with him towards the shack.

 

Tai took it out, he took a bite of it. "Tasty....Where did ya make this?" Tai said nibbling on the cookie.

 

Z sighed and, as before, couldn't bare to let her take it with this mask of his. He took it off and threw it in a near-by trashcan. "Happy? Because that thing feels weird to my face now." He laughed sulleny, looking at the clouds. "A city encased in snow, a city that never sees the sun, sees the moon, sees the light outside this world." He quoted and looked at her. "Don't you think?"

 

"The old bakery... it's surprisingly warm in there.." Crescent pointed to a little hut on top of a hill. There seemed to be a little sign that said ' Bakery' but it was barely readable.

 

"How about we snag some food from up there?" Tai suggested finshing the cookie.

 

"How could I resist?" Crescent reached for Tai's hand then walked toward the abandoned bakery.

 

A pink blush arose on her face and she smiled. She fiddled around with her blades and nodded.
"Oh well...ever since the snow storm, the city was evacuated... Natasha and I were trapped in our basement for a little while, then our supplies ran out, and i made sure that Natasha got out. She found some help though," she trailed on... She opened the door to the shack and smiled at Natasha.

Natasha squealed with glee as she saw Jordyn walk in the door, but she skidded to a stop as she fell back, trembling in the presence of Z.

 

Tai got a grip on her hand when she grabbed it as he began holding her hand. "This thing has gotta stop." Tai said refering to every flake of snow.

 

Z smiled as she said what she said, not interupting her, and when they entered the doorway, he looked away from Natasha. "Um...." Was the only thing he could get out, he wasn't wearing his mask and felt eluded to the fact he needed none of it for this, it was hard that he had been dark and cold towards them both. He couldn't bare the anger in his heart for his hatred. Both were the same, both were making him feel regret towards what he did to Natasha. "S...sorry...." He kept it low in his own sound to where he heard it himself.

 

"You can say that again" Crescent's eyes drifted to their hands together.

Natasha looked at him, and remembered the time earlier, when she was nice to him. She was growing fond of him. Then it all changed when he'd pulled the gun out, holding it to her head then in her mouth... She shivered and cried, hiding behind Jordyn.

Jordyn frowned and looked at Z.
"I'm sorry," she mouthed the words, pulling his hand into her's.
"She'll come around....hopefully," she said, trying to cheer him up.

 

Z let go of her hand and walked over to the corner of the room. He sat in it, looking away from them. Not a good choice, considering that he had the ache in his back from when Jordyn punched him a long time ago. He sighed and a few tears fell from his eyes. Most of them fell to the floor.
