The City Incased In Snow

''Hagh.....you...were able to hurt me. why?" Rayku's blade had cleanly went through her stomach and she fell to the ground, Juno started to disaper in smoke and her spear was left there "Huff...i did it..."

 

Tai started turning his head to Rayku "Herr...Dark Coat. Did we win?" He asked weakly.

 

Karen ran over to him. "You got rid of her huh?" She stood by him. "You okay?"

 

Jordyn made the tea and gave it to her sister.
"Stay inside," she warned. she missed the whole fight between Rayku and Juno...

 

he huffed as he said "Yeah...i think so..but we have to move again..what if more of them come?" he got ou and almost fell, but he caought his blance.."Lets go..."

 

Karen nodded her head slowly. "Right... everybody else is okay..." She eyed Rayku a little while walking back to the house.

 

Zack looked out the window, he saw Karen and Rayku, he ran over to them, "lets get you inside, its freezing" he said to Rayku.

 

Karen nodded her head. She gently prodded Rayku to follow inside the house where it was warm. "Phew..."

 

"cold outside, isnt it?" he said to Karen.

 

Karen closed the door behind them. She nodded her head. "Yeah, no kidding..." She rubbed her hands together to try to make them warm again.

 

Rayku walked straight to the bed and plunked down into sleep "ZZZZZZZZZZZZ...." he snored lighly as he was in a deep, deep sleep

 

"here" he pulled off his sweater. "It will warm you up" he held it out to her.

 

Karen looked up at Zack. "It okay. I'll warm up soon." She walked forward and stood by the furnace, holding her hands over it.

 

Zack tossed it onto Karen, "I insist" he told her. "you need it more than me right now"

 

Karen turned around and caught it. She looked at it a bit. "Okay..." she slipped it on over her and fitted into it. It was a little bit larger then her, but it was warm.

 

"feel a little warmer?" he asked.

 

She nodded her head. "Yeah... thanks..." She looked back at the small fire in the furnace. How long was it going to be like this? This was like a winter wonderland that lasted a thousand years in a book she read once.

 

"you look a little tired, why not get some sleep?" he told her. "I can keep watch of things here"

 

Karen yawned a little. "Yeah... thanks... Wake me up if something happens though..." She turned and walked to the bedroom. "See you in an hour or so..." She disappeared into the bedroom and plopped on the bed. She started to drift off to sleep.
