Cilix chuckled but stopped when the girl stirred and opened her eyes. He turned to look at her, smiling. "Hi, I'm Cilix and this is Nate," he said gesturing towards Nate.

 

"Nate stared at the girl and managed to say "hey" but it kinda fell out of his mouth

 

The girl cocked her head when Nate tried to say hello and despite herself, giggled a little.

Cilix sighed and shook his head. "Nate's dorkyness in action," he muttered to himself.

Nate whacked cilix with his training sword "hey! i'm not a dork" and he looked over at the girl and said "nice necklace"

ooc: ok later, you too

 

Cilix rubbed the back of his head where the sword had made contact. He grinned but again hoof beats rang out outside the house.

 

"who do you think that is...?"

 

"I don't know but-" Cilix was interrupted by the window smashing and glass shooting everywhere. Cilix dove to the ground, pulling the girl and Nate with him. "Nate, take her to the secret passage, you remember right? Once she gets there help me out." With that Cilix ran to the hearth and unhooked the giant broadsword that had been his fathers. "GO NOW!!!" Just as he said that the door was broken and 8 bandits sauntered in.

 

Nate rushed with the girl to the secret passage in the woods that only the knew about and said "stay here, please and thank you" and closed the door and rushed in to find cilix fighting and 3 bandits already injred and he took out his sword and said "no fair you had a head start" and killed 2 bandits with two clean swipes

 

"Ah haha yes well," he said as he parried a stroke and disarmed the man. With one clean cut he cleaved the man's head off. He shuddered slightly, this was his first kill but he shook it off and continueed on.

 

Nate continued to attack another man who actually kne wwhat he was doing with the sword so he had to come around back of him by using his speed and stab him viscously in the back, "well there's one left, shall we?"

 

"We shall." They both stabbed simultaneously, bringing the man down.

 

"i think we tied...." he said sarcastically , "so should we go figure out who the hell that girl was?"

 

"aye," he agreed. He raced off back to where she was and knelt down. "Ok, we are safe. Now its time to tell us who you are," he said sternly but gently.

The girl raised her chin and replied in a strong, clear voice," I am Elizabeth Thurar."


Cilix looked stunned. "Thats...my...last name," he almost whispered.

 

Nate just said "well that's either a huge coincidence or you're related orrrrrrrr something else... i dunno"

 

"I...guess we are related." He was still in shock about the whole thing.

 

"well.... this is odd"... nate said bluntly

 

Cilix was about to say something but stopped suddenly. He pitched forward and Elizabeth caught him. She gasped as she saw a feathered arrow embedded into his back. "CILIX!!!" She shouted. He was motionless. Overcome by a rage she had never felt she laid him down gently. "Watch him," she ordered Nate and took Cilix's sword. Strodding out into the clearing she killed the archer and the rest who had stayed.

 

"well that was nice, he'll be okay" he said to her as she came back and he yanked out the arrow, "hey buddy, what did i tell you about playing with arrows eh?" and he took out some bandages and wropped them around cilix's back, "c.mon tough guy"

 

Cilix laughed softly. "Ahaha very funny,' he muttered. He winced slightly as Nate pulled out the arrow, drawing blood. He bent over obediently as Nate wrapped the bandages. Elizabeth stomped back and sat down in a huff. "Damn bandits, interrupting us," she said.

 

"yeah... those things happen, this isn't your first arrow though is it? i thought you ahd taken one before?" he asked cilix
