Question The borders.

I am trying to make transparent borders for my sigs, but I have a problem: I can´t select the option "Stroke Selection", please help me, I´m still a begginer in this, forgive me if this is a stupid question.

 

Is this for GIMP?

If so, then try this.

After your done with what you were doing, and the border is what's next, make a new layer. Go on select all or Ctrl+A. Then go to edit>stroke selection. Make it a 2 pixel for the 1 pixel type. One pixel doesn't look that good.

I have another problem, how I do to ovelay the layer?

 

Go to the main GIMP window and do File>Dialogs>Layers.

That should help... A lot.
