The only anime convention even close to where I live is like an hour drive. And it's starting over memorial weekend. (1 month)

 

i have a problems though... my mom thinks I'm too young to go to anime conventions, and it's this saturday, and I JUST found out about it... so I may not get to go T-T

I've been wanting to go to an anime convention... they looks so fun!

 

I heard they have cosplays for virtually anything...
Sells stockpiles of manga beyond your wildest imagination...
And a crapload of videogames from every genre...
As well as a LOT of events and activities...

But it would be smart to find out everything you can about the convention. It they have information about the location, time of day, prize, about the people holding the convention - then I think you can make some good arguments to your mother about it. Though if you can avoid it, you shouldn't go alone. The bigger the place the worse it is to go alone.
