Well for school I'm required to read The Scarlett Letter and one post-WWII novel of my choice. Unfortunately I am not a big fan of 20th century literature. :x

Other than that I hope to read another Jane Austen book, just to continue my two-year tradition. Haven't quite picked which one yet.

For school I have to read Heart of Darkness and some Shakespeare stuff like Merchant of Venice. Not really looking forward to either, because I've heard bad things about them from my peers. I also suck at depicting Shakespearean language, so Merchant of Venice should be quite annoying. But if I get stuck I'll just use Sparknotes :D

I haven't been reading books as much as I used to, but due to my uncles recommendation I'm gonna try to make my way through Robert Zelazny's The Amber Chronicles.

Plus, there's always fanfiction to rely on xD

Woah Clawtooth, that's a lot of books.

I will probably read to Kill a Mockingbird, it's a book that some of my friends studied over the last two years and it just fascinates me. Apart from that I'm slightly stuck on what to read, Summer is the place I do most reading in anyway.

I do have Death note: L change the world, but I found that hard to get into- I may try again during the summer if I have nothing else.

Dandelion Wine, never really got around to it.
I hope to finally get caught up on One Piece.
    Finish the Tithe series.
Ray Bradbury short stories are on the list.
His Dark Materials Series- quite good, worth another look.
The Help, if in prep for the film if nothing else.
Re-read Ordinary Ghosts, I do wish it were more famous.
Re-read The Homeward Bounders and Howl's Moving Castle. I love her work.

Well, Summer is over for me but I still plan to read.
Comic books aside, I plan to read the following (cause I might as well type out my reading list instead of forgetting it all the time) :

Mocking Jay (3rd installment of the Hunger Games series)
    Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
Fragile Things, and Neverwhere both by Neil Gaiman
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
and also finish, How To Make Comics by Scott McCloud

I'm probably only going to read the first two, and finish McCloud's book.

I had to read The Alchemist.

It was a nice read with a touching little message that made me wish for a significant other, as most things do.

I also re-read Beastly for the third time and might do it again just for the hell of it.
