TF2 is class! I used to play it quite a lot but not recently cause my wee brother is constantly playin' it. xD My favourite would have to be Heavy Weapons guy. I usually like to play as the character with the biggest gun. xD Plus, he has a sandwich. O:3

Sorry to Necrobump, but on Steam, Valve just realeased TF2 for the Mac, and is doing something called "Free Weekend" where I guess you get to demo the game this weekend for free. Also, it's half price this weekend, but before I buy it, I wanna try the demo. How do I do that?
You do know you could've made your own topic right? If you don't see a thread on the topic you want to discuss on the first 3 or so pages it's alright to make a new one. On to your question, you download Steam and go to the TF2 page. I'm pretty sure if you just add the game to your cart it'll start downloading, thus allowing you to play the game until of course the weekend is over. I'd personally test it out myself for your but I already own the game so I can't do it, but either way it won't ask you for your credit card if it works that way so don't worry about it charging you.
Anyway, for the free weekend, it does say it on their site, but I'm not seeing a link or anything to the demo, and when I look on the demo page for steam I don't see one for tf2. I'm not sure if it's because I already have tf2 or if you don't get it from the demo page, I'll keep searching around but I'm not seeing anywhere to get it from, not even the download page for the main game itself.
Necrobumpage I'm kinda disappointed by this thread. D= people here don't really play tf2 ? I've been playing tf2 for some months now and I love it! My best class is engie and my 2nd best is pyro. I'm not the best at it, but I have fun everytime I play. =)
So I bought the game a couple of days ago. I love it. It's unlike anything I've played, like, ever. My steam is NiteLites, if you want to play with me. I usually play as Demoman or Spy or Sniper, they're the best imo.
I got suckered into buying it with the Orange Box. It's a horrible, horrible game. It's basically Half-Life with different skins and funny named weapons and characters. The only thing keeping it alive is the comic relief of everything. IMO of course.
Haha, okay! I'll add you. I mostly play as pyro and engie. Well, I mean, yes, the design is like half-life, but it's just like any other MMOFPS game. You go around and shoot other people and try to win depending on the game. I think the best thing about TF2 is how unique each class is. Then with each class, there are different weapon combinations that provide a different play style for each class. I like to experiment with each play style.
