"No I'm done," Nox put a spoon in the pot and sat down at the table, "it's called pasta I hope you like it."

 

Daine gingerly followed suit. "I don't really eat much..." she murmured. "And your human ways of sitting at tables is...confusing, but interesting." she smiled.

 

"Why wouldn't we sit to eat," Nox asked. He dished some of the noodles onto his plate. He extened his hand so Daine would give him her plate.

 

"Yes, but at a table." she smiled, shaking her head. "And using glasses instead of bowls, and having solid food instead of soup. It's just odd." she watched, her eyes slightly wide.

 

Nox dished Daine some of the food. He took a forkful and ate it, "it would have been better with some meat in it but I know how your agiest that."

 

Daine tried a bit, then smiled. "Thank you." she murmured, eating some more. "Animals shouldn't suffer just so we can have some food."

 

"Yeah I know you told me," Nox said, "so do you like it."
The sause was rich and spicey most likely from the pepers that were added. There were also tomato pices.

 

Daine smiled, then nodded. "It's so different. I like it a lot." she ate a little more, thinking. "Are all your human foods like this? You eat some of our soups, but that's about it."

 

"You don' need to call it human food," Nox said, "It's just food jus like it's just soup."

 

She smiled, then shook her head. "We don't usually eat solid food. We make cloth balls that are filled with ingredients which, if you drop it in water, it'll make soup. Great for traveling and hiding. This would be much harder to make in hiding."

 

"Well your safe here and you get to enjoy high quality food," Nox said smileing at here, "so enjoy."

 

She nodded, smiling, though inside she wondered why she was here, why she was still alive. The werewolves had shown an aptitude for tracking, she would have to find ways to make sure they lost that. She wouldn't let his home be destroyed as well as hers. Finished eating, she stood up, and took her plate. "Are you done?" she asked, smiling.

 

"Not quiet just a bit more for me," Nox dished himself anouther plateful of noodles and added more of the sause.

 

She giggled. "You males are all the same. Always hungry." she took her plate to the counter, and started cleaning up, keeping an eye on him. Strange what life brought her.

 

Nox smiled, 'not always.
Nox put his dishes in the sink. he reached over to the water pump and pulled the leaver water came out and ran over the dishes.

Daine watched, tapping a finger against her cheek thoughtfully. "No, sometimes you sleep too." she murmured, deep in thought again. What could mess up a werewolf's extroadinary sense?

 

'Wolfsbane,' Nox took down a small plant that was hanging up, 'put it on the door and we will be fine.'

 

Daine looked up. "How do you know so much about them?" she asked, her eyes wary. "And they aren't just any werewolves. To have survived in a human like city, they have honed their senses."

 

Nox shruged, 'I don't know pick up a book and read. It's not hard to learn if you sit down and do it.'

 

Daine rubbed her eyes. "Those are human marks. I can't read them." she murmured apologetically, stepping outside the door.
