Sweet Poison

Nox went through his bag he bumped into a few potions and charms but finaly found what he was looking for. He pulled out a purple potion. He uncorked it and tossed the contents at her. The water began to dry out of the cloths and off the skin.
'I've got more if you'd like them,' Nox said zipping up his bag.

 

She smiled, then inclined her head. "Thank you." she murmured. She sighed, then stood up, and held out her hand. "We best move on, before the werewolves come. I woul escape, but you..." she grinned.

 

Nox brought his leg up and sliped his hand in his boot. He pulled out a silver dagger, 'I would be fine.'

 

She gently rubbed her finger over the dagger, her eyes thoughtful. "You know any weapon will do." she murmured, pulling her hand back. "And I don't know if you give them enough credit."

 

Nox smiled it was his turn to show off, 'I've captured two of them today and left unscaved.'

 

Daine was taken aback, but then smiled slightly. "While that shows you have power, have you ever killed one?" The wind stirred her hair gently, and she brushed it out of her eyes, curious.

 

Nox put the dagger back into his boot, 'no but if I ever need to I will. Besides I dought I'll be attacked any time soon.'

 

Daine smiled slightly, tying her hair back. "Don't curse us. Shall we go, then?" she smiled, this time the smile meeting her eyes.

 

Nox smiled and nodded. He looked back at the water. It was blue just as the sky was now, 'you lead.'

 

She nodded, walking along the river, then towards the woods. "I would expect to, because if you knew where it was, I would be worried." she grinned, making her way to a small house.

 

"I don't know don't be surprized if Ireconize it I've been here for awhile," Nox said as he walked. The birds woke up and began to chrup at each other.

 

Daine shrugged, then opened a door, and walked inside. Everything was just as she left it, and she sighed. She still had to go after that human, and smiled slightly. "Home sweet home."

 

"Nice place," Nox said as he looked around. The place was warm and it had a roof in Nox's opion "nice."

 

Daine smiled. "It's small, but it works out." she murmured. "Thank you." Going to a cupboard, she put a small glass vial, honey colored, in it, then locked it. Sighing, she rested her hand on it, then turned. "You can eat whatever you wish. We eat human food too." Kinda hard not to, she thought, remembering their history.

 

Saro heard the girl's hunger. He chuckled. First she was scared, now she was hungry.

"It seems we still need to catch our prey, are you up for a little searching for our dinner?"

 

She smiled, then nodded. Anything from going back on that dark memory. "She should smell sweet, like a flower. They all have that same sweet smell. Hers was wetter though." Aly inhaled, but smelled nothing like that. "Where did you first find her?"

 

"thats very kind of you Daine," Nox said. He just wanted breakfast now toast with ham and some milk.

 

She nodded, then smiled slightly. "I'll be in my room." She headed to a small room off the kitchen, and closed the door behind her. Sighing, she slipped off her shirt and rummaged around for a new one.

 

Nox got bread and milk he looked for ham. He couldn't seem to find any. He open several cabinates in serch of ham.

 

Daine heard him and called out, "We don't eat meat. Since we can shift into animals of our natures, it is considered like eating brothers and sisters." She pulled on the long sleeved shirt, then tied her dark blue hair back. It still hung down to almost her waist, and she sighed. Maybe she should cut it again soon...
