Sweet Poison

Landing on all fours, Saro dodged the blast of magic. Surprise was a strange emotion to the manbeast, but he took in instride. Taking his chance, he ran away from the sorceror and into the woods, looking for his prey and that mysterious other.

 

Nox was baffled he was sure the werewolf would try to kill him. Nox kept his wand out just in case he didn't like being surprized.

 

staggering blindly through the forest looking frantically. "I hope i'm not too late.." "I hope so i bet she'll taste better as a vegetable" riyuchi said with an evil chuckle "shut up you demon scum..." "what we're hungry i kno i personally like to finish what i start" "i really don like you" seno says with extreme disdane. just then he looks up and sees mysterious captor with magical powers "OOOOOOOOOH I WONDER HOW HE'D TASTE!!!" "SHHHHHHHHHH!! i don what him to hear us" seno whispered to himself. "he can't hear me i'm in your head you moron" seno grits his teeth and hides behind some trees to try and figure out what he is looking for exactly.

 

Aly panted, sitting with her back to the tree. She didn't like magic, and of it. It scared her, made her heartbeat race. She slowly slumped down to the ground, feeling herself weaken. Stupid stupid girl. Stealing food was so much easier as a human. She lay her head on her paws, closing her eyes.

 

"Great I've loss both werewolfs in one night perfect," Nox said, "girl wolf I heard you where are you?"

 

Seno's eyes widened "ok now we know she's here let me take over and find her" "no Riyuchi i need save her i'm the one that did this to her" he whispered to himself as he crouched down to begin to move through the forest and find her. "i can sense her near by getting weaker i wonder if we should add some extra spices" "SHUT UP RIYUCHI!!" he shouted after realizing what he had done he instantly hid behind some rocks next to a very large tree.

 

Nox turned and threw a red potion at the rock. The potion exploded with a large boom. Nox pointed his wand at what was left of the rock, 'out hands up.'

 

Aly sat up with a yelp, scrabbling back to get away from the magic. Whatever it was, she didn't want it touching her. Get away, run away fly away. she remembered the song in her head, and would have laughed if she had been human. As it was, she hid behind another tree, then stumbled, her head spinning. Dammit, why hadn't she thought to raid a clothes store or somethign?

 

"hey there."

Sitting behind Aly was Saro. He seemed rather calm and confident. This was strange considering his recent outbursts of rage. He flared his nostrils and sniffed the air. It smelled burnt, like something was set ablaze.

"What is going on exactly?"

 

Aly jumped, then sighed. "I don't know, but I'm staying far from it." She glanced around, then back at him. "Do you have any extra food or anything? Clothing?" She felt very self conscious, and her heart rate began to speed up.

 

Saro made a gesture towards his body.

"In case you haven't noticed, I'm completely naked. Clothing isn't something a werewolf should worry about. Why would you even want clothing? Such things slow you down when hunting prey."

 

She growled at his insolence. "I'm female. I don't want to show my body to you." she wavered, stumbling slightly, then sat, keeping herself steady. "Not that you would take advantage of that, right?" she licked her paw, trying to seem nonchalant.

 

"Of course not."
Saro turned away, there was no need to anger another creature today. Lifting up his left foot, he began to scratch his head, taking out any of the barbs that he collected while he was hunting.

"It isn't the right time of year. Why do you feel afraid? You aren't born wearing anything like a turtle, so you don't need it."

 

She shivered, looking away as a gentle breeze ruffled her fur. "You wouldn't understand." she murmured, feeling herself shift back and forth. Soon it wouldn't matter. She would be human, a cold naked human, with no way of gettin back except hunting. Her head spun with the changes happening so fast.

 

"Is that any reason not to tell me?"
on all fours, in his clumsy human form, he watched her. She was so angry, was she hungry? No no, she had too much energy for that. What could possibly be goin on inside her head?"

 

Aly looked up at him, her eyes shifting from golden to yellow and back. "Yes, it is." she snapped, shivering as she shifted again. She wanted this to end, but there was nothing....no food, no clothes. Come on.....

 

Seno seeing the object flying towards him jumped a side into some brush and then stood up slowly "I'm not here to fight i only want to help my wounded friend, shes grown weak and i must help her" he said looking at the destroyed rock "that could have been us Seno you know if we fight you cant beat him but i can" "will you stop talking Riyuchi!!!" he turned and shouted as if talking to someone standing to his right.

 

Something was defiantly wrong, Saro knew it. However, he didn't know how to fix it. He never worried about another being before. It was the first rule of survival. Finally, he decided on what to do.


Laying down, like a puppy at her feet, Saro curled up into a ball and closed his eyes.

"Then there is no need for me to know."

 

Nox could see Seno and realy thats all he needed. Seno was flung to Nox's feet bound to the spot by an imvisable force.
"So where is your friend," Nox asked.

 

Aly was taken aback, but regretted her harsh words. "It's okay." she murmured, motherlike, then licked his cheek gently with her tongue. Panting as the sharp pains hit her again, she backed up, wavering. She didn't want to fall on top of him when the inevitable happened.
