Still pretty lackluster when it's just inadvertantly hopefully killing someone by preventing their recovery, when the alternatives are "oh hey, press buttan, recieve 3 kills instantly"

Also, characters like Metaknight, Pit, ROB, and maybe Charizard probably wouldn't be affected by it at all, as they have lots of stall tactics and insane recovery to last them the duration of the FS

Well, I didn't try to imply Jigglypuff's Final Smash was amazing--in case everyone took me seriously when I said Jigglypuff's FS for top tier (the fact of the matter is I purposely said that *because* it was so hilariously mediocre). Simply, I don't see any other application for Jigglypuff's FS other than an edgeguard. It appears to do no damage, so despite having a much greater range than DK's (who is fairly close at having an equally useless FS), the fact that DK can actually damage people with his makes his more useful--and that in itself is pretty sad. XD

Luigi has the best taunt in the entire game.

I think that final smashes will make the game less fun, I mean... its overkill

There's lots of possibilities for the contrary happening. Final Smashes to a degree bring their own balance to the gameplay. It might be scrutinized more by tourney-geared individuals (although even at this point, there's no consensus as to what to do with Smash Balls for tourney play), but for the general crowd who simply play the game mindlessly and senselessly to just beat the crap out of each other, how can Final Smashes not be fun!?

If getting a smash ball was an element of luck then it won't be as balanced, but the fact you need to work to use it adds that skill involved to get one quickly.

I'm liking the new format for the Dojo, considering that to alot of people, the simple moves of characters isn't going to be a surprise, so they add tips of how to use the character well, and how to unlock them. It seems there are mulitple ways to unlock characters, like for Marth there are 3. (I don't remember Melee having that)

I only remember multiple ways of unlocking Mewtwo in melee (either do the waiting thing, or a random chance)

Yes it does. Just obviously if you keep hitting it, it'll eventually break.

@DA: Yeah, essentially it's the following:

The fastest way to unlock characters is by going through Classic Mode, running through SSE and completing specific Event Matches... and I think All-Star has a purpose as well.

Some characters can be unlocked faster by doing VS matches (Like Ness and Marth), but basically all characters can be unlocked simply by playing VS. I believe after 450 matches, you will have unlocked every character.

It's pretty easy, perhaps easier this time around as well.

You can simply play through Subspace Emissary, and you'll unlock characters by having them "join your team". Unlocking characters in Brawl overall seems to be more of a "time" investment, rather than a skill-based one.
