"Aww, why not?"Valerie asked whining. "Because you always spazz!"Sora laughed, patting Valerie on the head. Riku laughed, hands resting over his middle as he felt the twins kick. He closed his eyes, remembering when he was pregnant with Hikari. Suddenly he felt really warm. He got up, panting. "Riku, whats wrong?"Sora got up. "I-I don't feel too good..."Rikus legs felt like jelly. Sora felt Rikus head and gasped. "Your burning up!"He said, going into the kitchen to get a wet washcloth. Valerie set Riku down on the couch.

"Daijoubu?"Valerie asked. Riku was sweating really hard from his fever. "This is bad..."she said. "Think think think....wait, this happened before with Hikari...Raine-sama!"she called for Raine. Raine noticed Riku and gasped. "Honey, are you alright?Oh you're burning up."Raine said. "Didn't you say that when the kid inherits the whole 'part angel' gene the mom feels sick for a few days during the 5th month?"Valerie asked. "Yeah, but not like this..."Raine said.

 

Mari was up and in the air to watch from above Riku, Eden felt a bit weak too, but stood next to Riku, worried.
ooc: yeah, but the last time we check, 2 months is when the little ones were gonna come... how much time now?

By how it looked by the posts we still have about 4 months to go....
BIC:Sora came back and put the wet washcloth on Rikus forehead. "You stay here and rest, mister."he said. "unh...."Riku winced in pain a bit, grabbing his shoulder. Sora realized what was causing Rikus high fever and growled. Darkena, what are you doing?! No response from Darkena... Riku yelled in pain as he felt a burning sensation where his mark was.

 

Eden winced, confused. Riku! S-Stay calm! SHe pushed Sora aside, he's light, so exposing it to darkness would hurt the darkness more. Mari was looking in the kitchen cupboards and drawers for something.

 

Riku still felt the burning sensation. C'mon, Darkena. This isn't funny, it hurts! I feel like I'm on fire... and Darkena was still silent. after a few minutes the burning sensation went away. Riku still had a fever but it wasn't as high as it was earlier. Riku sat up, rubbing his shoulder. "Let me see...."Sora looked at Rikus shoulder. It wasn't what he saw that surprised him...it was what he DIDN'T see. "Ri...where's Darkenas mark?"Sora asked. Valerie squeaked.

 

Eden panicked. D-Darkena? I swear to G--
"Got it!" Mari came back from the kitchen with salt.

 

Sora freaked out a bit that Darkenas mark was gone. "It couldn't have just dissapeared...."He said. "This is bad...."Valerie said.

 

Eden closed Riku's eyes a moment and shut his mouth and nose for only a moment as Mari threw some salt on Riku.
"There." She returned her hand.

 

"what was that for...?"Riku asked. Sora and Valerie were trying to figure out how Darkena could just dissapear like that... "Unless..."instant light bulb. "Xikari!"Sora and Valerie said at once.

 

"Salt gets rid of bad spirits, purification." Eden answered, knowing a lot about that stuff. "Also, if it was Xikari, it'd be more painful. I think one of the little ones have inherited Darkena."

 

"If one of them did we'd still be able to hear him..."Riku said. "It might've been Xikari... But...how?"Sora asked. Valerie realized something. "Maybe she's also responsible for putting the twins in Riku from Sora....But how...?"Sora and Valerie started thinking.

 

"I guess the salt was precautionary." Eden sighed. She put a hand on Riku's burning forehead, taking in the excess heat.

 

"I'll be fine..."Riku said, though his voice sounded hoarse with his sore throat. Sora went into the kitchen to get Riku something to eat and some water for his throat.

 

Eden frowned, looking to Mari, whom at the same time poured a little salt into her water canteen. Handing it to Riku, she looked to Eden for the explanation.
"Your throat needs a balance of salt and water. Too much salt, ya need water, too much water, ya need salt. Its a medical thing."

BIC:Riku took the water and sighed.

BIC: Eden sat next to Riku, watching him.

 

OOC:wow. I learned most of the stuff I know about pregnancy from the health books.XD
BIC:Riku lied back down. Sora came in with some fresh orange juice and strawberries. "Here."He handed the strawberries to Riku. He went back into the kitchen, hands on his hips when he realized that it was starting to get filthy. "alright! Who wants to help me clean this kitche-" "Pass!"Valerie said.

 

EAM appeared in the kitchen. "I can help. I may hate working, but I am a very good cleaner."

 

"Thanks...."Sora said. "I'll handle the dirty dishes-" "In that case I'm in!"Valerie grinned, coming into the kitchen. Sora laughed.

 

EAM already started on the dishes. "You know, this is the easiest job."
