Stop messing up our language!

Oh god your English as well? Damn, I hope my government connections still work so I can get you deported to space.

I have actually asked this once to an American and got a pretty decent answer from them, superiority complex. Besides its classed as a Sub-English language and sometime their accents would say things wrong so they changed it slightly to fit them hence Sub-English.

Quick note: American Football is a totally different game from Rugby. Yes English Football did come first but do you honestly think an American can come up with a better name for a sport where you kick a ball at some point and the rest of the time run and hit people?

It's also ironic that being English I actually prefer American Football to Football although if I had the choice i'd name the American game after a PS1 game I played once called Rage Ball seeing how most of the time it seems very rageful.

No offence Americans. I'm only repeating what i've been told by many people not all of them English.

 

None taken, rageball would actually make more sense than football as a name for that brutal sport that we seem to share a common love for.

 

That's because soccer is boring as hell to watch.

 

I actually love American Football but the name would just confuse the fuck out of me if an American ever asked me if I wanted to play football and in the end i'd think English football and not play XD

And it's language, it's going to evolve differently in areas of the world. America has a different way of using the English language than Britain, just as the Scottish and the Irish may have some minor differences. Diversity makes life exciting.
