My prayers go out in this time of sorrow.

Any time someones dies from a disease like cancer, it's always sad.

How long was he battling cancer for?
    How did he get cancer?

Aah I was just about to post this.
I mean it was just announced about half an hour ago or something.

It's very sad to see a man like him pass away. He had a very important place in the history of technology, and I always held an amount of respect to him for it. He has done a lot with Apple.

At first I thought it was just one of those stupid internet rumor things. But there it is.

    He was 56 years old.

He has been a memorable modern day man for his advances in technology and the world receiving new and innovative designs. A man in the history books, I believe.

Really? A man dies from cancer and you start thinking that?

I don't know exactly how he got the cancer, but the article I linked to above says he underwent treatment in 2004 for the cancer and had a liver transplant in 2009. So...almost 8 years.

I heard about this just a second ago - I saw it on Twitter :x
He was indeed a great man - And he was young to die. Fifty-Six, if my memory serves well.
His legacy'll always run throughout the business and people he's effected.

sad loss for the world. He was poineer. His vision for Apple took the company from brink all the way to the top as one of the richest companies in the entire world.

I'm shocked... honestly. I hate Apple, but he was an amazing man who made that company what it is today. I'm not sure how the company will do with Jobs now well... completely gone, not just no longer the CEO. Just wow. All the thoughts in the world to his family and friends.

My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. Cancer isn't easy, not by a long shot.

It is actually quite common for people to disrespect someone in that position. It sucks a lot.

My most sincere apologies and condolences to the family. That's really tough. He was really young.

While I'm not a huge Apple fan, I have great respect for Steve Jobs. He was an innovator and a leader, creating one of the world's biggest companies from the ground up. The world has lost a very creative person, something the world desperately needs more of.

This caused me to think that Apple is going to go crashing down without Steve. Maybe he wrote his ideas in his will.

    *shrugs*

    Who knows?

While I dislike most things Apple, I must admit that I shall miss Steve Jobs. If it wasn't for him, there would be no Pixar.

Rest In Peace, Steve. Rest In Peace.

No idea who this guy is or what he did aside from helping in some way with Apple, but a loss of any life is terrible, so i hope he does R.I.P.

Aaaw, this is such a shame. Although I didn't know too much about him, I'd only heard of him here and there.
    R.I.P. dude.

There are inventors and innovators working at Apple, teams that help design and create the new Apple products such as MacBooks, iPhones, and the software such as SnowLeopard and iTunes. Jobs contributed a lot to initial designs both software and hardware, but he's not the only one with a knack for innovating. Apple will survive, it will however take a hit from the loss of one of their greatest past assets.
