Stephan Colbert announces Presidential Candidacy

Who didn't see this one coming...I mean come on.

Who here thinks he could win it?

 

This is for real? I was aware that there was a growing base that desired him to run, but I thought it was an idea he only liked to toy with.

 

I would like to see some proof Cin >_>

But I'd totally vote for him. I don't care what he says he's gonna do, just because it's Stephen Colbert :D

 

I'm almost pretty sure it's not true though I heard on his show he said it. I thought it was a joke to motivate voting or something. However, if it was real people would probably get mad at him for stealing votes away from the politicians and be annoyed lol. I know I'd vote for him just because I wouldn't vote for some of the others and at least he's funny.

It's alright guys, I have my doubts as well. Though every chance he gets he'll say he's running. What's weird is that it's hard to tell if he's serious at all, considering he is a comedian. He did say on his show, that he was running, he's said it multiple times, as has John Stewart. I suppose until we actually see him doing something as a politican we can't tell.

 

Doesn't he say this everytime there's an election? Or am I just imagining things?

Because I can clearly recall him saying he was going to run in the '04 election.

 

He's a comedian who works with social satire. He made a joke that he was going to run then later said he would be running Democrat AND Republican so he "could lose twice". It's obviously a joke...

 

If he wins...

I will, for reasons unknown, bow down to him.

....im not even kidding. lol

 

he could get some state votes, but where i'm live, mostly everyone doesn't know who he is.

 

I think it would be great if he wins. Just imagine him giving an Inauguration Speech.

Not to mention the bragging rights.

But then again there probably won't be new Colbert Reports...unless he did it from the Oval Office.

 

Mmm...another thing interests me about him.

I think I *might* just vote for him, because he isn't a stuck-up politician who takes everything so seriously. Yeah. If he runs, I might vote for the lawlage.
