I won't be on alot today and a little bit tommorow, but you guys should still start, just don't **** up the RP while I'm gone. I'll probably be on around 6 or 7 tommorow.

 

OblivionRoxas, can you take that picture and shrink it and put it back up?

Also, Ghetto, can you on the first post put a list up of the characters and players so we know who's all in and not as time goes on and we start moving this thing?

Meh, I guess I'll start.

As Kam's shuttle touched down on the jungle moon below, he was greeted by a squad of republic soldiers being led by a female Jedi Knight. They gethered their supplies and weapons and after going over the battle plan, they sent two soldiers to scout up ahead while the rest set up camp. Today they would rest, and tomorrow at 08:00 hours the attack would begin. Kam was sitting near the fire when the female jedi walked up.

"You scared?" She asked with a smile.

"I've never actualy been in a war before..." He said.

"Neither have I" she said as she sat down beside him "But I think we can survive...maybe even win."

"I hop-" Just the he was cut off by the sound of an explosion near by.

"That was close. You two come with me!" she said as she gestured toward the nearest soldiers and ran off toward the explosion. Kam stood up and ignited his lightsaber.

"The rest of you defend the camp!" He said as he ran off after the female Jedi and her group.

When he reached the battle, he saw that the two scouts were dead, thier bodies had been pierced with shrapnel. The female Jedi was up ahead fighting off a mandalorian wielding two vibro-blades. The soldiers that followed her were trading blaster fire with three Mandalorians. Kam ran in the direction of the Mandalorians, deflecting and blaster fire that came his way. One took out a grenade and tried to throw it at him, but he used the force to send it flying back toward the mandalorians, taking out two of them. The third turned and tried to run, but Kam foce jumped over him and landed about half a meter in front of him, stabing his lightsaber through the soldier's chest.

"Too slow." He said as he pulled his blade out of the man's gut and watched him fall to the ground.

When he looked over at the other Jedi, she had also taken down her oponent.

"So what now?" asked Kam.

 

Ardin Nor made his way down the corridor of the space station where he had left the damaged ship of some person he had stolen it from on Korriban. Following the guard's directions, he wandered into a tavern and walked forwards, past the 'wait to be seated' sign and took a chair at a table of imitation mahogany wood. He knocked on the table and it was metal.

After a moment a woman walked over to the table and looked at him. "Didn't you read the sign?"

Ardin Nor glanced up at her and smirked. "I did not see a sign I cared to read. Bring me some wine, if you would and some sort of meal with meat and a side vegetable and gravy. That will do you well."

"Do 'me' well?" The woman pushed her black haired pony tail behind her and groaned. She took out a stylus and datapad. "I take it you're not from around here."

Ardin gave a nod. Where he was from 'Do the other person well' meant that the Lord wouldn't have to kill that person for failure. It was a kindly saying to him at least. He didn't get her reaction to it. "You are correct. Bring me that wine please. I thirst. I have not eaten anything but rations for a week."

The woman shook head and gave a quirk of a smile. "Alright, sunshine. I'll be right back. However, you are being pretty vague here. You want a red, white, blush, or what?"

"Surprise me", he said and leaned back in the chair. He turned his attention from her and heard the telltale sign of her walking off. Glancing around he saw many assorted species of people. None were what he'd coin as sensitive to the Force, but some had powerful spirits. Most however, were just acting full of bravado to avoid being seen as weak. It amused him that though he barely understood their words, he could feel their emotions and ascertain what they were saying and doing just by their body language. A moment later he heard the sound of glass hitting metal and he turned to see the woman had returned.

"There's a bottle for you and a glass. I suppose you don't know what you want so I'm going to suggest a Bantha steak. It's prime cut and should make up for those nasty rations." She popped open the bottle with no trouble at all, as if she had been doing this sort of thing for years, and poured some of the red wine into the glass before him.

"I will go with your suggestion" he responded and took up the wine, taking a fair gulp and nodding with approval. "Yes, this will do."

The woman let out a chuckle. "You are something else. Most people sip it to see if it's going to be good. I'll put your order in, mister. Stay outta trouble now." She then was off to delivering orders for others and placing in his.

Over to the right of him, activity seemed to be picking up. Anger was rising. A Twi'lek with two Gamorreans was debating rather fiercely with a few Trandoshans who were also not so keen about a couple Wookiees who were growing mad. The Twi'lek seemed to be attempting some negotiation or mediation of some sort but it obviously was not working and the Trandoshans and Wookiees really seemed to want a piece of each other. Ardin Nor casually watched, drinking the wine. Others around looked over now and then but turned away. Some scooted on down a couple tables away, expecting at any moment that there was sure to be at least some body limbs flying at any moment. Some though had to be brave and act like they could take it. Oh, yes, this place was interesting with its bravado, rage, and fear. It wasn't so much different than home in that regard. His food was set down before him and he turned to begin eating it casually as roars and growls from the right intensified and the Twi'lek's voice grew more desperate.

 

"Jedi!your shuttle is ready!"A soldier called as he entered the Bridge,gasping for air.

Rayce slowly opened his eyes,and with a quick turn of the heel,began making his way to the hangar.Nothing but death,destruction,and pain awaited him down on the planet below,he knew this..but still,something was pushing him onward to assist the Republic.

Once he reached the Hangar,Rayce had boarded his shuttle,which was filled with Republic soldiers,but no other Jedi.He may have been the only one left at this point."Get moving,pilot!"he ordered.

"Yes Sir!"The pilot had quickly fired up the engines and made sure that the area was clear before taking off.

Meanwhile,Rayce was examining his companions.Some had looks of fear..others were shivering..they knew that this may be their final battle."...Steady Men...we arent down there yet..''he said in a calm voice.He seemed to have boosted some moral amongst the soldiers,since most were looking up at Rayce as if he was a glorious beacon of light.Giving each a nod of understanding,Rayce grabbed a handle that was just above his head,the gunship began rising.

He wondered if the troops could last the first hour,never mind the first day....

 

Kam had been moving forward for hours, treking through the jungle with three other soldiers. The other Jedi and the rest of the soldiers were back defending thier camp while he was leading his team to the mandalorian weapons cache. Thier objective was to simply blow it up. They had fought for hours at a time to get to the cache, and now they had arived to find it gaurded by ten mandalorian soldiers in a small clearing.

"What's the plan, sir?" asked one soldier

"Rush in and take as many as you can before you get killed." Said Kam witha stern look on his face.

"A-a-are you s-serious?" asked another soldier. He obviously couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Yeah" Kam said "Do it for the Republic."

The three soldiers nodded and then rushed into the heart of the Mandalorian defense, guns firing. One by one, each of them fell, but one was strapped with detonite and upon being shot it detonated. The explosion was so loud it could probably be heard back at the camp, and it took out five enemy soldiers, making Kam's job much easier. He ignited his lightsaber and charged into battle.

 

Rayce suddenly felt a ringing in his ears as he heard a loud explosion from the outside.He steadily moved toward's the cockpit."Pilot,wherever that explosion came from,head toward's it.

"Sir?"The pilot said,confused with the orders given.Heading toward's an explosion was usually a foolish and suicide idea.

"Just do it!"Rayce ordered,then moved backwards and grabbed the handle he had previously held on to.

After a few minutes of intense silence,the polit's vocie suddenly rang out through the shuttle."Sir,we're over the--''

"Open her up!"Rayce quickly said,looking at the boarding ramp.It slowly came open and Rayce jumped to the ground.Only a foot or so..nothing too big."Take these men back to the camp we passed earlier!"he shouted up to them,then quickly checked his surroundings.Around him were three Republic soldier remains..or,atleast two,and what's left of the last one.Once he heard a saber ignited,Rayce looked over at the wielder,Kam,who was rushing into battle.

The ship lifted off after a few moments,then ascended into the atmosphere and headed back the way it came.But just as it was building up speed,it was shot down.

 

Kam rushed to meet the first mandalorian. The warrior was wielding two blaster pistols, both of them shooting round after round of blaster bolts at him. He deflected them all easily with his lightsaber, one of them even caught a mandalorian in the chest, cuting down the amount of fighting he would have to do. When he got within range of his target, he swung his lightsaber at the soldier's legs, but he jumped up and barely saved himself. Kam brought his blade around, doing a full three-sixty, this time bringing his blade up higher. The silver blade of his lightsaber conected with the soldier's arm, and soon it was on the ground. Next he brought his blade down, then back up at a forty-five degree angle, cutting through the mandalorian's armor from waist to the opposite shoulder near where his arm used to be. Two down, three to go He thought to himself. Suddenly he sensed another Jedi behind him and he turned his head toward his new ally.

"Care to join me?" He asked in a playful tone.

 

Rayce was in awe as Kam had defeated the Mandalorian Soldiers,never seeing combat as he displayed it before.Once Kam had asked him to join it,it took Rayce a moment to register that he was speaking to him.He,a Padawan,was being asked to assist a Jedi Knight.Rayce resonded with a smirk."...Not as if you need any,but I'll be glad to assist you..''he quickly pulled out his lightsaber and watched it rise with a small hum.He looked over at the remaining Mandalorions who were hesitating to fire.

"..So..''Rayce twirled his lightsaber around a few times as he approached Kam."..Out of the three..which one do you want?"

 

"I'll take the two one the sides, you can have the one in the middle." Kam said as he threw his lightsaber like a boomerang at the soldier on the right side, watching it cut through him and start on it's way back to his palm. He caught the lightsaber by the handle and then with a force enhanced burst of speed he ran toward the soldier on the left and ended his life with a blinding flash of his silver blade.

"Too easy" He said with a grin as he looked down upon the mandalorian he had just killed.

 

As Kam rushed forward and took out the two soldiers with a great amount of skill,Rayce decided to do something simpler.He merely ran forward at the Mandalorian and deflected the blaster bolts that came towards him,letting them bounce off his green blade and hit the ground.Once he was in range of the Mandalorion,Rayce quickly sliced off his hands in a downward hack,then spun around and sliced his head off before he could scream in agony."...."He deactivated his lightsaber and looked down at the head,which rolled away from the body. ..Is this really keeping justice?..killing the son of mothers with nothing left?.. he thought.

He looked back up at Kam,starting to recognize him."..I remember seeing you back at the academy?..what's your name?"he asked him.

 

Kam looked at the other Jedi and looked him over a bit. He did seem some what familiar. He looked a little younger than Kam. Didn't know Revan brought in padawans as well he thought to himself as he began to set up explosives.

"The name is Kam" He said as he was setting the explosives around the weapons cache "and you?"

 

"...Rayce..''he responded,watching the Jedi Knight set up explosives around the cache.Kam did seem familiar,and he had heard his name on the Capital Ship orbiting the planet."So..your goal was to destroy that weapon cache...didnt you have Republic Soldiers to--"he stopped as he walked over to the remains of the three dead Republic Soldiers."...What did you do?"he looked back up and turned to Kam.Jedi led Republic Soldiers,and sending them out into the open was foolish and stupid,Surely Kam wouldnt send them to their death...right?

 

"We were out numbered four to ten" Kam didn't even stop to look, he just kept setting explosives as he spoke "They gave thier lives so I could finish the mission. Completion at any cost is the main objective, this is a war not a training mission."

Once he set the explosives he stood up and took out a small remote with one button on it. "We should finish this quick, because I have other things to do."

 

Rayce believed his story,but it still made him feel a bit..uneasy.Once the explosives were set he moved over to Kam and stood beside him."I will assist you.."He responded,and there was little else he could do.He had no master,no orders,nothing.And since Kam was a Jedi Knight,,he could learn more about being a Jedi from him.

 

"Well then, you better keep up. I'm not going to be looking out for you." He said as he turned and walked away from the cache. "You better get moving, you're gonna want to be a safe distance away from the cache when I hit this button." he stopped and turned to look at Rayce. "And after that we're leaving the planet."

 

Rayce turned and followed Kam away from the cache,and once he said they were leaving the planet after this,a question came to him."..this was all we were meant to do?..just,blow up the caches?..''he asked,but was sure that was not all.Kam was up to something,and Rayce was going to find out.
