As you've probably noticed, I've been acting quite different from usual today. This is because I have chosen to start and Alternate Reality Game right here in the Spam Zone. You can find the thread that started it all here:
    http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?116052-quot-Friends-quot-my-game-begins.
Here is the second thread of the game: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?116084-Gave-up
    Step Three: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?116244-I-just-realized-that-I-never-introduced-myself.

In this game, you will be given periodic clues which, if you fail to solve or recognize them in a certain amount of time, will yield a warning, usually by visitor message to the holder of the clue. If you still cannot figure out the clues, you will be penalized in some way.

The ARG will also span multiple threads and will be split into Steps. Typically, a new thread made by me in "mysterious mode" means a new Step. If you still can't tell, they will all be posted here. Each Step includes its own set of clues which will be distributed randomly among Spam Zone regulars or, on a few occasions, as a single clue public clue in the next Step. This means that everyone who is active in the Spam Zone as this moment is involved. If you wish to not be involved, either PM me or post here.

You may also have noticed that my signature and avatar have disappeared, as well as my user title changing from the default "Chaser" that premiums have. All of these are involved in the game, the user title change being your first clue as to what the story is.

In this thread, you guys may discuss anything not related to solving the clues. Once the story is more established than it is now, you will be able to discuss theories on how it will go next here. However, I'd like to ask that you keep all discussion of clues in the Step threads.

So we have 0, 1, 6, 11 as far as numbers go?

Yes, and there are more. One of them is a bit more difficult though.

Question posed- Are those given a key randomly chosen, or do the ones picked specifically relate to the ARG?

Of course. Just PM me or post in this thread. Quitting also doesn't disqualify you from helping to solve the clues, only receive them.
They're randomly chosen, though I may recruit a few members to play parts in the story.

This sounds like fun, I'm in. We need one more key right?

Also, I bet "Friends" has something to do with it.

No, two. Beuno's thing isn't a key, but is actually more important.

And yes, that's involved, but it's more part of the story than the clues. It won't help in solving the clues.

And please, discuss the clues in the other thread. Otherwise people won't see it.

Well then, I quit. I'm quite busy IRL right now, so I think it would be better for everyone.

This sounds intriguing, how do you join? Though I won't be much help tonight, my brain is mush.

You're in by default. You're only out if you decide to be out. Unless you're referring to taking on a "character" in the story, but that comes later.

Ah, I see. I was not referring to being a "character". Thanks.

I have a question. Is there a set timezone that'll help with the game?

New Steps, as well as hints to solving clues may be posted during any hour of the day, though most often between 10 AM and 10 PM Eastern Standard time. Beyond that though, time zones are irrelevant as long as you can get all the times that you think are relevant into the same time zone.

Jesus christ, I think this is the most serious the Spam Zone has gotten in a long time.

    I'm in.
