"Isn't that your true reason?" She looks down at her paw as it flickers from long, slender fingers with sharp claws then back to her tiger's paws, there's not much time. "Tell Cloud to take the boys out of the castle." She said urgently. "I can't hold it back any longer." She said as she spins herself in circles to calm down. "There's no time to explain, the will is set up like chutes and ladders. Just don't land on a chute and unexpected traps."
He feeds blood to his grandfather's unconscious body then changes the bandages.

 

"It takes several blows over time or an enormous blow like at Nibelheim to shatter my sanity. Isn't there any way I can help you?"

 

She goes behind the Seph form and nudges him forward. "Yes, beat the chute and ladders game. Ladders help you and chutes gets in your way. Remember you had that annoying demon? I just realized I have one too."

 

He got up. "Couldn't we just exterminate the demon?"

 

"It will remain quiet if I drink your blood but my will is weak so it is surfacing."

 

"Why does it only like my blood?" He asked as he approached the 'game'.

 

"My father, creator, master, and lover. First taste of vampire blood came from you." She enters into the 'game' as well.

 

"So, how do we move around here?"

 

"A twelve-sided die will appear in your hands then you have to roll it. Look at the spaces ahead of you though."

 

He rolled the die that had appeared in his hands.

 

She nuzzles his hand. "Please be careful. The traps cannot be evaded once you land on them."
Did you use that new item on Sephiroth and Jenova? The background looks so cool!

 

It'll look even cooler once they reach Omega form.

He pets her head. "What kind of traps are there?"

 

She whips the die with her tail then moves forward. "The gory sort. Any traps falls on me will be shown on my real body. You just lose blood until you can't crawl."

 

"Malik is watching us with bandages and blood at the ready." He told her as he moved forward.

 

Nothing happens. "Once we past the half way mark, they would add things further like poison knives and paralyze for X amount of turns."

 

"Poison doesn't really affect me, nor does fire." Seeing as the rungs of the ladder in front of him were spaced too far apart to climb, a black angelic wing emerged from his left shoulder blade and he flew up.

 

She lowers her head. "That's a penalty right there. It'll cost you two liters of blood as a warning. When you bleed, your real body doesn't show but it transfers to me instead." She rolls the die and she could climb the ladder.

 

"How was that a penalty? I landed on the space that the ladder was on so I flew up it."

 

"That's it. You flew." She said as she continues to climb.

 

"How else am I supposed to climb up it? The rungs are spaced too far apart for my child body."
