"When he gets into a rage like this, he won't even listen to my reasoning until whatever he's mad against is eliminated." He teleported to Sora's room and the temperature in the room increased suddenly, causing the mako in the test tubes to boil.

 

He saw a single huge bubble and his eyes widen in fear then quickly adjusts all of them. "You only heard a part of it. I'm not your old man even though I am using science that created you." A fear for multiple unborn creatures are going to die made him on his knees. "I beg you. Don't eliminate them because of your past. Hojo used it for destruction. I just want to make new life for better without Jenova cells."

 

The temperature in the room continued to rise. "They'll probably find out about how they were created eventually. Who knows what will happen then? They might go insane like I did."

 

"You were treated different than they will ever be. I am willing to bring back my old self if that's what costs me." He extends his arms in front of the lab. "This means a lot to me."

 

"Why should I trust you? I will never be able to trust humans due to the actions of scientists like you."

 

"You'd think I would change quickly from a dark child to a scientist?" He growls. "I'm just looking for another life. That doesn't involve--"
He cursed to himself for letting his guard down then Demon King swipes at his tiny body.
Demon King pops into his head and he thought he's falling then lands on the cold floor. "Go, go away!"
He thought he saw Sephiroth standing in front of him furiously then opens his eyes. No, his prescence isn't here. That must be a vision or something. "What did you just do?" He demands as he stands up on his two feet.
"Your Somebody triggered his own fear out of your failure. In other words, you and him can see an event from the other's view without telepathy."
"Is there anyway to calm your son down?"

 

"I suppose can allow you to continue with your experiments on two conditions. Stop trying to kill Cloud, and give him the antidote for whatever you put in him." "There is one way." She teleported to Sephiroth and started singing to him in her melodious song-like voice. His tense body relaxed, and the last thing he said before he hit the ground asleep was, "The lullaby." "This will only buy you some time. He will still be enraged at you when he wakes up." She said as she picked him up off the floor.

He made a mental note to get the antidote immediately. Sora went deep into his lab then found a label that says 'Antidote for Cloud'. He came back with a foul mood on his face since he has to help the one who he's trying to kill.
He mentally thank her then stands at the edge of the doorway. He noticed Sephiroth is asleep in Jenova's arms then notice Sora. He drinks all the fluids, careful not to leave anything behind.

"No problem." He wrapped his arms around her neck again as he purred.

 

He carefully looks through the description of each little creature inside. "Chocobo, what the... pyralis?"
"All I know is that its a lizard."
He nods then listens to Sephiroth's purring as he continues to read others.

 

"I'll go put him in his room." She said as she left the room.

 

"Let me know when he wakes up." The next two took him a while to read over and over again. Mainly because he doesn't want to believe it is true.
He looks down at the fourth tube and his eyes soften. "It was our idea since we don't know when our eternal conflict will end."
"But, how did you..."
"Kill, what else?"

 

She put him on his bed. "Might as well redecorate the room to his tastes now." She said to herself.

 

"You adapt to his tastes quickly, don't you? Not many mothers notices their child's interest." He shudders at what Sora told him then moves on to other ones.
He smirks as he saw that then let's him look further.

He watches as Demon King forms an energy in his mouth. "No, Saxor!" He cries to his Nobody. "Quick, what is the other condition that I have to fulfill?" He asks both of them since he didn't care which one will answer. That can wait since he can sense that Saxor can't hold up any longer as his vision of the Demon King is distorted.
The Nobody heard his name from his Somebody. "Idiot, you are putting yourself in danger. Running away from a battle can result twice the damage than usual. You might not even wake up."
He shakes his head. "You are my top priority right now. Who is going to help me raise the third experiment if you fade, hm?"

 

He opened his eyes and pushed open the creaky coffin lid above him. He yawned widely that would break a normal human's jaw and looked around his room, Jenova was nowhere in sight. After a few seconds of concentration he figured out that she was just wandering around the castle. He went back to examining his room, which was illuminated by mist that emitted a silvery light like moonlight. There was also a fountain that had blood instead of water, it had three spouts that emptied into a large basin, one was a lion head, one was a snake head, and the last was an eagle head. He dunked his head into the fountain and drank deeply from it. "He's awake, Cloud."
