Sora's Darkness

He tosses and turns in his sleep.
Cloud groans. "Looks like you are going to have another one, Riku. My spell wore out faster than expected."
Sora uses his arms as support then looks around. Sephiroth is absorbing the cornerstone, Cloud is recovering in a corner, and he can't sense Riku or Kairi on this world. He grabs by Cloud's collar and pulls him up. "Where are they?"
"Not telling you for eternity." He said in a monotone.

 

"thanks for trying. you and seph need to get out of there. you cant beat sora alone."

 

Cloud made an attempt to break free from Sora's grip. He's only a third of his age and he's stronger than him. Showing any weakness to him means he'll stick a while longer. "Let go."
"Hmph. Not for an eternity." He said in a mocking voice. Sora picks up Riku when he communicated to Cloud. "Simba's place huh? At least you have brains. It seems you told me without your knowledge." He drops the blonde warrior on the floor.

 

"F***" riku shouted. he stood up and summoned his keyblade.

 

"You'd better start running Riku." He opened a portal near Riku to Land of the Dragons. "Sora knows where you are."

"yea i know. thanks." he grabbed kairi's hand and went into the portal

 

Following Sephiroth's scent where he sent Riku, he teleports immediately, leaving 'cornerstone of darkness' unprotected.
"Y'know you made it way easier for him, right? The Land of Dragons is just around the corner." He said as he starts to work on the cornerstone again.

 

riku stands in front of kairi ready to fight

 

He shrugged. "It's better than just leaving them to fight Sora and not help them at all."

 

He stops. "Still, this pain everyone has to endure must stop." He pours light of his own into the cornerstone. "Friend or foe from before must ally as a friend against a hero who saved the worlds."
"Still won't go down without a fight? It is no wonder I was annoying when she didn't have a heart." He took a step closer. "Would your memories say the same thing, traitor?"

 

"im reall getting tired you you calling me 'traitor'."

 

He chuckles. "It is the truth. Both of you betrayed me, the two who I thought was my best friends." He took another step forward. "Now ask yourself this: would your 15-year-old self hate your present self for leaving your childhood friend in the darkness?"

 

"probably but that was then this is now"

 

He opened a portal back to the underworld while still absorbing darkness. "Both of us will need this when the cornerstone turns back into light."

 

He frowns. "Have it your way." He vanishes from view.
"Ending it would mean Sora is gone but I bet those who don't know about this would grieve over his death." He starts absorbing darkness again, more than his body can handle.

 

riku sits down on a rock. 'i actually wish that the heartless never came to the island.' he thouht

 

He places a keyblade to her throat. "Here I thought the knight in shining silver armor would protect his princess."
He collapses on the floor.

 

riku jumped up an and slashed sora's sword arm almost cutting it off

 

He sighs, and while keeping one hand on the cornerstone he put his other hand on Cloud's shoulder and absorbed some of his darkness.

 

He looks down at his own blood as though fascinated by the crimson liquid. The copper taste in his mouth is still there. "Curaga." He whispers. A flower appears above his fatal wound then closes the skin together without a scar left behind. He looks up to the silver haired boy. "Hasty weren't you? Was that fear I sensed?"
He tries to rise but falls back down. Somehow it became easier for him to move and found a hand on his shoulder. "I'll go to the other side."
