Sora's Darkness

I just got up from bed, damn timezones.

Tifa ran over to Kairi. "Are you OK?" she asked desperately. Unable to think of things to say, she just said "My name's Tifa, I don't know who you are and I don't know how I got here, but I think I've seen you somewhere before."

 

"No... I'm fine", she lied, trying to get back on her feet. "My name's Kairi"

 

Sora held his non-dominant forearm in front of himself. "Very cunning," he remarks then added, "for a neophyte." He jerks the chain towards himself. "Should we call you a failure? You are not injuring me, not even a scratch."

 

"Hi Kairi, so who are the guys who captured you? I've seen them before in the Radiant Garden." Tifa said to Kairi. Everything confused her.

 

"Organisation 13, they've been after me for some time, a lot of people have been after me.. but for the wrong reasons"

 

Namine raised her other hand, summoning another chain to her, as she lashed it out towards him.

 

Kairi had managed to get up, but had to lean on Tifa to hold herself.. hoping she wouldn't mind

 

"I'm really worried about the Radiant Garden. There was this massive storm brewing up and I got sucked up by it. I landed on this beach somewhere. I saw this portal and I let curiosity got the best of me, so that's how I ended up here. I don't know what's happened to my home." Tifa then notice Kairi struglgling. "Kairi, what's wrong?"

 

"N..nothing", she lied again, not wanting Tifa to worry

 

"Are you sure? You really don't seem fine"

 

"I'm okay, just.... must be tired"

 

He frowns. "Don't you get it? By keep on whipping your chain, it will only lead your opponents an opening to kill you." He angrily shouts telepathy at her. Sora gave her more darkness than she could handle. "Let's see if your dark side could handle this better than you." He said as he smirks.

 

"Maybe, so where do you think we go from here" Tifa was just confused with the whole situation, but at least she wasn't alone.

 

The darkness couldn't take over her, but it would put her through a lot of pain, Kairi's legs no longer could hold her and she collapsed on the floor, blacking out for a few moments

 

"Kairi!" Tifa screamed. Now she was worried. "Something is clearly wrong. I need to get help, if I knew where to get it from."

 

Namine felt her body grow cold as a frisson of fear ran through her body, at the darkness enveloping her. Before she could even try to raise her arm, she closed her eyes, for only momentarily, before re-opening them. A cold look passing over her eyes, she transported behind Sora, instantly wrapping her chain around his wrist, yanking it back.

 

All Kairi could see was dark, making her frightened, for a few moments. She managed to open her eyes though after a short while. "What.. just happened"

 

"You completely blacked out, Kairi, something is really wrong, if it's something you know about, please tell me."

 

"I don't want you to worry... it's fine really", she said trying to give her a reassuring smile

 

Tifa felt unsure, "OK, if you don't want to say anything, so... what do we do now?"
