"Here." He tossed the book at him. "Various ways to calm people down. Pick one you like, just be sure to bring it back."

 

He hands the book back to him. "There's a reason why your mother chose your father as hers, not me. That's because I always made her nervous as a child."

 

"He's busy." He tilted his head up and closed his eyes. "Seems after a bit of passion since his door's locked."

 

"Which is why I'm entrusting you to do this."

 

He replaced the book before teleporting to his mother and tilting his head.

 

She jumps up slightly, startled, then turns her head. "Oh, it's you."

 

"Who else would it be but your firstborn?"

 

"I thought it was your dad or grandma since you share the same aura of leadership. So, what do you want?"

 

He shrugged. "Just talk I guess."

 

"Alright," she grabs two cans out of the vending machine and hands one to her son, "what do you want to talk about?"

 

He opened it and sniffed it suspiciously as he shrugged. "You should know I'm not very social."

 

"I'm aware of that, honey. Try your best, dear."

 

He took a little sip from his drink, the taste leaving a slight tingle on his tongue. "Good, no sugar."

 

"Guess there's none on this planet."

 

"Or our drinks are diet ones. Lucrecia and Chaos had their child."

 

"I can understand why Lucrecia doesn't want me to know." She said through gritted teeth. "She doesn't want her child tainted by the black sheep of the family."

 

"Are you hungry?"

 

"Sure, I haven't eaten for months."

 

He handed her a goblet of blood. "Here, unless you'd prefer human food."

 

She shied away from the crimson liquid.
