Sora's Darkness V4

He wrapped his wings around himself. She dumped a bucket of water on his face.

 

He shook his head.
She shook her body all over, spraying at all of Avalanche.

 

She handed out some towels before drying off Cloud's hair. "Want to tell me what happened?"

 

"Sephiroth electrocuted me."
She cries in her sleep.

 

Her hands clenched into fists. "Why did he do that?"

 

"I went over the edge and he got mad."

 

"And you're the one who's chiding us to not make him angry."

 

"That's because I'm used to it."

 

He phased through the floor and sat down in a chair. "I think I'll take up the offer of that free drink." "I thought I said no-" She cut herself off as she saw the hopeless look in his eyes before his head hit the table and got up to get him the strongest stuff she had.

 

"Is grandpa ok?"
"No, he's kinda torn."

 

He sobbed softly enough for the humans not to hear.

 

"Hey, lady." She calls to Tifa. "You know my dad is my grandpa's son?"

 

She couldn't hear her as she set the mug in front of Sephiroth. He pressed it to his lips as he threw his head back.

 

"Ronda, go upstairs."
She whimpers and goes upstairs with her aunty.

 

He pressed the side of his head against the table with his hair covering most of his face.

 

"Would it help if you stay with your Mother for a couple of days?"
She snuggles under her arm.

 

He didn't respond as his eyes had a glazed look.

 

"Jenova, is there anything I can do?"
"I want to use the aging spell!"

 

She laughed mentally. "You honestly think he would accept your help even if he was sane?"

 

"If Tifa wasn't here, I would ask him torture me until he's through."
"Sephiroth, want to use the aging spell?"
