"I don't think Mom will agree."

 

He looks out the window. "True. She doesn't like to hear his voice."

 

"Whatever happened to those orphans you were caring for?"

 

"Where's Denzel and Marlene?" He called to his childhood friend.

 

"They've been in their room since Sephiroth came."

 

He changes his eye color back to their original and heads to his 'children'.

 

He caught a giant shuriken between his forefinger and middle finger that was aimed at his head. "Princess Yuffie's, I'm assuming?"

 

"Yeah, she gets airsick easily." He heads downstairs. "Tifa, I thought I told you not to bother with any fights."

 

She rolled her eyes. "You know Yuffie. She never listens."

 

"I hope that goes for Barret and Cid too." He sits on one of the barstools.

 

He tossed it on the floor before catching a spear aimed at him. "Warm welcome, huh?"

 

He sighs and pulls out First Tsurugi then points to Cid's neck.

 

He let it go as it was taken back. "Why are you protecting him?"

 

"Not now." He gestures for the Avalanche group to sit down.

 

He let out a small sigh of relief as Barret heard the order before he could try attacking him. The group sat near Cloud while eyeing Sephiroth warily.

 

"Sephiroth can destroy the planet if he wants to so we should be grateful we're alive. Anger him means all of you are dead and I'll suffer his wrath. Is that understood?"

 

"Can't we just stop him like before?" She whispered.

 

He heard her like it wasn't a whisper at all. "No, Tifa, all of us combined won't stand a chance. I was there when he turned into a god. All of us will be dead before we could lift a muscle." "What is my mission, Master?"

 

"I have nothing for you to do right now." "What did he mean earlier, about me asking you how many other women you've been with?" She asked as she clenched her hands into fists.

 

"It is just as you suspected. I had a girlfriend but that was interrupted and then I married to another and we had a girl who is all grown up. Why would something so trivial interests you?"
