Sora's Darkness V4

He knelt down beside a couple of aeons curled around their summoners in the garden. She opened an eye as a shadow fell across her face and let out a soft gasp at who it was. She carefully stood up so as not to wake up Malik and hugged the person. "Daddy." She whispered.

 

She uses her tentacle to pat her sister's head.
He rolls to the other side while his aeon opens an eye.

 

She giggled softly and intertwined her sister's tentacle with one of her vines.

 

She picks her up with her tentacles. "What's with the whisper? Is everything alright?"

 

"Brother doesn't like Daddy for some reason."

 

"Papa, do you know why?"
"I don't think I can do this, dear."

 

He shook his head. Her aeon opened its eyes and wagged its tail happily before pouncing on Sephiroth, knocking him on his back and licking his face. He lent her his strength.

 

"I'll let you know, ok?" She pets Bahamut chick's head.
She gave one last push and could hear crying then smiles before falls asleep tiredly.

 

"What is this? Tackle your father day?" He said jokingly as he rubbed its head. The nurse wrapped a blue blanket around the equally blue skin of the crying infant before setting him in his mother's arms and waving smelling salts under her nose.

 

"Thank you very much." She bowed slightly with her son in her arms.
She laughs.
Ifrit picks up its summoner and moves somewhere more quiet.

 

She nodded before leaving. Avery clutched the blanket as much as he could while looking around with his sky-blue eyes. She followed it.

 

She adjusts his blanket. "Hello, my son."
He hugs his aeon's neck tightly. It stops and turns to face Blossom.

 

He tilted his head, slightly moving the tuft of already-untidy black hair on his head. She hugged a part of it that didn't have any flames.

 

She smiles warmly. "He has your hair, Chaos."
He stirred awake then rubs his eye. "Blossom, why isn't your aeon with you?"

 

He stroked the little tuft of hair. He giggled, showing a mouthful of unusually sharp baby teeth. "It's tackling and licking Daddy."

 

She nuzzles him. "Avery is our son, alright."
He mentally frowns. "That's great."

 

He hugged her and kissed her cheek. "Stop trying to hide your feelings." He shooed the hatchling away before going into the castle.

 

She smiles proudly.
"What was that aeon called?"
"If I didn't, you wouldn't like it."

 

She climbed up on the aeon next to him and hugged him. "Bahamut." He said as he slammed his fist into Cloud's stomach.

 

"What is that for?"
He purrs.
She widens her eyes in surprise.
She falls asleep once more.
