"What's he doing?" He slammed Cloud into a wall.

 

"He just gave me a twisted glare."
"Where did you run off to, Master? I became bored during your absence."

 

"That's not like him." He crossed his arms against his chest and tilted his head at him. "With that kind of attitude, I'm assuming you don't want pain?"

 

"What do you mean?"
"Of course not. Tala doesn't even have the heart to hurt me so I gave it to her."

 

"He usually isn't like that. Dad was probably messing with him too much." He dug his claws into Cloud's arm.

 

She sniffs her uncle. "He smells just like mama."
"Who is that?"
"Is that supposed to be my punishment or reward?"

 

"One of my three children. Her name is Ronda." "Depends. Do you enjoy it or does it hurt you?"

 

"So what does she mean that I smell like her mom?"
"I enjoy it, Master."

 

He shrugged. "You smell like my wife I guess." He ripped a chunk of flesh from his arm with his teeth.

 

She pants eagerly and wags her tail.
He tilts his head.

 

"She wants to play."

 

"Play?" He backs away from the wolf pup in fear.

 

He handed him a bone and gently pushed him foward.

 

Disgusted, he throws the bone away.
Her eyes follow and runs after it.

 

"She won't hurt you on purpose."

 

"Garnet said it is for one's own entertainment."

 

"Ah, that's her version of 'play', also known as torture. This is just the child form of playing, no harm to either side unless it's an accident."

 

He nods weakly and follows after Ronda.

 

He followed him.

 

She picks up the bone then hurries over to her uncle.
