"There's light, but that's bad for you and her."

 

"Any others?"

 

"Not that I can think of."

 

"Then do it."

 

He rose up into the air while being covered in a ball of light.

 

Her eyes squinted from the blinding light. "M-mate?"
She falls to the ground the moment the light touches her.

 

He turned off the light and dove in the direction of the voice.

 

She turns into her humanoid form as she stood there, petrified.
"Papa!"

 

He tackled her and hugged her tightly. "Don't you ever do that again! You nearly gave me a heart attack when I saw Garnet hunting!" He teleported to her and gave her some darkness. He squirmed uncomfortably.

 

She takes short breaths then notices her uncle. "Told you it becomes a chain, Avery. Everyone is going to get hurt by your misery. That is just as bad as papa's rage."
She squirms to get out of his grip.

 

He crawled as far away from her as he could in his brother's arms. "What's wrong?"

 

She gets off her father. "Dad, there's no way he can cure as long as I am with you. Should we... call it off?"
She didn't answer as she continues break from his grip.

 

He shivered at the mere mention of the idea. He wrapped his tentacles around her. "Tell me, Mei."

 

"Ok, forget I asked." "Avery. I want to help you badly. Please tell me why you like papa."
"Get away from me!" Still thinking she's captured by a human.

 

"He helped me, unlike you!" "Mei, relax." He said in wolf.

 

She hugs that calm voice.
"Cause you told me is to keep grandma away from you and change your eyes."

 

"So is that why you pinned me down and threatened me?"

 

"Not exactly but close enough."
"I trust you." She said in wolf language.

 

He rolled his eyes. "Good."

 

"Tell me how am I supposed to help you."
"What's your name?" She tilts her head.
