"Just a child and already stronger than your dear old dad."

 

"I'm made like that dad, there's nothing I can do about it."

 

"I meant it in a playful way."

 

She mentally laughs and snuggles closer to her father. "I would have taken it as a joke anyway."

 

He cushioned her with his wings.

 

She purrs happily.

 

"I don't care if you're stronger than me as long as you love me."

 

"I can do that now and always."

Don't know. I just found out one of my favorite online RPGs has a reference to the old version of The Day The Earth Stood Still which we watched in Reading class about a month ago.

I've known about it since the Carnax Wars. I loved watching my brother fight him. His preferred pet was the little flying moglins for some reason.
