"I don't know how to deal with this. What do you do?"

 

"Just let it play out on its own unless it involves me. Reasoning with ones related to me doesn't really work."

 

"And return empty-handed?"

 

"Try to snap him out of it if you want."

 

"Malik, wake up."
The fire grew stronger.

 

She rose and headed off to the volcano.

 

He backs away as the heat grew as hot as a furnance.

 

She buried her face against Demon King's clothes.

 

He wrapped his arms around her. "Talk to him, little one. I'm sure he'll listen to you."

 

"M-Malik?"

 

The flames shielded him vanished. "Yes?"

 

She rushed to him and hugged him tightly.

 

He returns it. "Sorry Blossom."

 

"Just...please don't act like Jericho."

 

"I promise." He sits up then kiss her on the forehead.

 

She smiled happily.

 

"Your needs come first. And that's how it will be."

 

She walked over to Demon King and hugged him in thanks.

 

He patted her back then leaves.
