He shrugged. "Just wanted to see you I guess."

 

"That's fine. You can join us if you want to."

 

He shook his head. "That's alright."

 

"Please be careful, Seph." She leans over and kisses him on the head.

 

He giggled. "Who do you think you're talking to?"

 

"That's right. You are my son. I shouldn't say those things."

 

"Silly Momma." He poked her nose with a tentacle.

 

She giggles. "Sorry. A mother can worry about her child every now and then."
"Lady of Fate is being too merciful on us. Something is not right."

 

"You're right. You'd think she'd be more vengeful since we paved our own fate."

 

"Do you think Strifes will sabotage us?"

 

"There's only three and one acts like a Crescent."

 

Her eyes began to search the room. "Something is not right..."

 

"Can you pinpoint it?"

 

"Tala is alive and Orochi believes Cloud gave her vampric genes, Zack is looking after Seph, and all of my children are happy to see me." She sighs as her head hits the pillow. "But Ronda never changed."

 

He laid down next to her and rubbed her arm. "Just rest for now, dear."

 

She nods sleepily then closes her eyes.
"Your meal is ready."

 

He pulled her close against his chest before going to sleep. He hopped out of her arms and headed off to the kitchen.

 

She whimpers.
She hugs her husband.
He ties Cloud up against a post since he's drooling over the smell.

 

He loosened his grip. He wrapped his arms and wings around her.

 

She grabs the blanket then pulls it over her shoulder with her back to her husband.
"I feel so safe with you, Chaos."
