"But it doesn't make any sense because you'd be dead too."

 

"I'm not sure how I'm still here either."

 

"Who cares? As long as you're here, I'm happy."

 

She nuzzles her husband as she purrs.

 

He nuzzled her stomach happily.

 

The child pats happily as well.

 

His tentacles wagged happily like a dog as he purred.

 

"I wonder why your real mom is upset."

 

"Mother was taunting her earlier."

 

"You said she was upset before that. That's why Jericho doesn't know about her."

 

"You remember when she roared at us for no reason."

 

"Yeah. We must have said something. Do you remember?"

 

"All I said was that Garnet was at school."

 

"What was one of the things she wanted to do?"

 

"Have a child with Chaos and teach Garnet."

 

She winces then shifts her weight away from her husband. "I think I know why she roared."

 

"She's jealous of us?"

 

"No, she's jealous someone else is teaching her granddaughter."

 

"Not anymore."
