"Why do you think Sephiroth left and she was looking for a new husband?"

 

He mentally shrugs.

 

"Can't you put two and two together?"

 

"Was it because he knew that's not his child? So she seeked out for me?"

 

"Correct."

 

"So why did he forced me to kill him then got back together and still have that scent mixed with his?"

 

"Ages ago, when Luana was still a child, she and Sephiroth had a blood transfusion to keep her from her real father who wished her harm. In the process, Luana had a demon taken into her also, named Nyx. This demon wished nothing more than to rip him and Luana apart. If he killed the demon, he also killed Luana, so seeing no other option, he asked you to kill him."

 

"Ok. So he was seeking a place for Nyx can't reach him."

 

"No, I mean she wanted to rip apart their relationship. She refused to let Luana out of her grip."

 

He winces. "Now I understand if that ever happened to us."

 

"How are you supposed to fight an enemy that hurts your loved one when you hurt it?"

 

"Find a loop to the chain."

 

"Too late for that now. Seems Luana killed the little devil herself before she came back."

 

"H-how is that possible? That's saying she's dead among the living."

 

He shrugged. "Technically, they're both dead anyway since they're vampires."

 

"There's undead and there's dead-dead."

 

"Luana, have you altered your child in any way?"

 

"I revived it but that's all I can think of."

 

"Are you sure Nyx is dead?"
