She smiles weakly.

 

He draped a few wings over her.

 

"This is very tiring for me to heal an unborn baby."

 

"Then keep resting and let me know if there's anything I can do to help."

 

"I do want your help but I just don't know how."

 

"Then I'll stay by your side until you can figure out."

 

"Kind of like Jericho except draining my energy."

 

"Then you want me to talk to it?"

 

"By all means."

 

He caressed her stomach as he reached out to the child with his mind.

 

The child flipped its head side to side.

 

"Relax, it's just me, your dad."

 

The child relaxes. "What's a dad?"

 

"It's one of the two people who made you and will take care of you."

 

It pats where it senses its dad.

 

He rubbed the spot gently.

 

She places her hand over her husband's. It falls asleep by the soothing touch.

 

"It's asleep now."

 

"That's great. But Garnet will be upset even further."

 

"Obviously. We forgot about making her younger."
