He removes his arm from Sephiroth.
"I shouldn't be the center of your world, Sephiroth."

 

"Why not?"

 

"We are like separatable. You hardly see mom nowadays."

 

"She doesn't mind."

 

She shrugs Zack off and turns her back to the men while Sephana is still in her arms.
He notices the abrupt change. "Everything ok?"

 

He whimpered softly. "I honestly don't mind."

 

"You have great mothers, Sephiroth. Spend time with them, at least. Mine wasn't around and is a mortal."

 

"Mine weren't around either and Jenova could only use mental contact."

 

"That's better than nothing!" She places Sephana in his arms then shoves him out the door.

 

He shivers as he wraps his wings around himself.

 

"Whatever mom said, I'm sure she didn't mean it papa."
"If you are sad, then it makes me angry."

 

"Why Luana?"

 

"It's because he's fortunate. Despite the bad things happened, he still has a mother even though he couldn't see her."

 

"Same as you and we suffered more than you. You even had a father to care for you."

 

"My mother died and he's not my father!"
Vincent seems sensitive to Lucrecia's child when he heard about Jenova project. Either he's concerned about her or his child.

 

Or he thinks she's lost her marbles. Or perhaps her health once she injects herself.

"But you counted Sephiroth as your father."

 

She sighs. "Yes, he's my father. I'm just playing as sister for now."
Marbles?

 

Mind, sanity, etc. I'm surprised you've never heard of that.

"And wife."

 

It's not used around here.
"Are you saying I'm being too harsh on him?"

 

"He's still got the mind of a child. He seeks comfort, not harshness and yelling."
