"Sorry grandpa." He wraps his tentacles around his mom.
She reaches up to kiss him on the lips.
"What's wrong with papa?"

 

"You are so dead when I can move around again." He said in a deadly purr that threatened to rip off his limbs. "He's wounded."

 

He pulls her away. "I'm sorry." He teleports to his room.
Horror falls into her eyes and falls on her knees.
"What kind?"

 

He put a portal under Luana that took her to his room. "Physical."

 

She coils up in one corner.
"I can see that."

 

"Luana, sweetie, come here."

 

She crawls over to his side.

 

He sat up then picked her up and put her beside him. He wrapped an arm around her in a way that didn't make his body hurt more.

 

She looks down at her feet, wondering why he left her when she's perfect for any guy.

 

He cupped her chin and tilted her head up to face him. "You still have me, darling." He said in a silky, seductive voice.

 

Her heart beats loudly in her chest. She turns her head away before she starts blushing.

 

He took her hand gently and planted a kiss on it.

 

She turns her head back to face him with tears falling down from her cheeks.

 

"What's wrong?" He asked as he wiped the tears off her face with his thumb.

 

"Sorry, I can't think straight. I don't know myself anymore."

 

He hugged her, ignoring the pain that flared up from the gesture. "Shhh."

 

She backs up from him. "Maybe I should go back inside the pod."
"What is mom talking about?"

 

"No, please don't!" He pleaded with Seph looking through his eyes as he trembled.

 

"I fear I'll hurt you more than your sanity and heart, father." She crawls out of the bed then curls up into a ball.

 

"Please, Luana, don't." He begged while shaking.
