He wrapped his arms around her neck. "I'll be back." He whispered in Sephana's ear before heading off to Cloud.

 

She nods sleepily.

He ripped Cloud from her grip and pinned him to the ground where he started scratching his flesh.

 

She wakes up then notices a stranger harming her mate and shoves him off.

 

He snarled at her and went back to scratching him.

 

She whacks his head with her fin while snarling protectively.

 

He completely ignored her as he sunk his fangs into his arm.

 

She punches his jaw then throws her mate behind her with their hands locked. "Get away from him."

 

"So, you dumped me for that pathetic waste of flesh. I knew our love was never true."
