His laughter relieves the small one but that doesn't stop her from worrying just like her mother. "But what does the scary man mean mom hates me? And what will happen to you if my powers reach their fullest?"
He crosses his arms in front of his chest and frowns. "I don't see how you can live with your dad without hurting him at the same time."

 

He took her and cradled her in his arms. "Just try not to use light around me, okay sweetie?"

 

She nods her head.

 

He stroked her hair as he hugged her.

She hums a tune that she heard her mother sing while still in her womb. It is made to ease heartaches. Her humming made her father's broken heart beat again without her knowledge.

 

"I would prefer the old one, but the new one's fine." He hugged her tghter as he smiled and happy tears streamed down his face. "Wanna see the rest of your family?" He asked Ronda.

 

"Traitor's cousin coming right up."
She hugs his arm. "Why are you crying papa?" She asks as she looks into his eyes.
She barks happily.

 

"Don't worry," He said as he wiped his sleeve across his eyes, "they're happy tears." He teleported back to the castle with the little pup and made a portal under the bed for the others and his mate.

 

"Did I do something right?"
She buries her face into his chest and shivers.
He caught Eberhart without getting tipsy. "Too easy."

 

"Something very, very right." "It's alright." He wrapped a wing around the tiny shivering form in his arms.

 

"Why's that papa?"
She shakes even more.
"Orochi, the other two are behaving the same."

 

"I feel much better now." "They're probably just scared."
