She stops playing then lifts her head.
Sephana tilts her head.
He runs ahead to cut him off.
He curses lowly then turns a different direction.

He jumped at a wall and pushed himself off it to the next one and continued his hunt that way.

 

Are you sure your computer isn't broken? It should be a high-pitched noise that adults can't hear. It so happens to involve math. There's mosquito repeller article about it.
Her ears show she has his full attention and looks at him questioningly and curiously.

I wouldn't be surprised if my computer is broken. It's an XP made in 2002 if that makes any difference. The article says that only some people can hear it.

Her ears lift with interest while wagging her tail and barks eagerly.
"Can't the four of us go hunting instead of this?"

 

He scratched behind her ears. "You could always try to stop him. You have this odd aura about you that instantly makes people like you, whether it be alien, child, or crazed vampire."

 

"How come that didn't work for mom?"
She smiles. "We need that kind of energy around here."
Ronda pants.

 

He shrugged. He conjured a toy ball out of darkness and threw it for her to get.

 

Instead of crying, she asks another question. "Could you please teach me that transportation thingie?"
She watches it flies out of his hand then turn her father to the ball then back to him again.

 

"Pull the light outside of your body near or around you and think of the place you want to go. Just try not to use it around your father." "What?"

 

She tilts her head.
"There's a difference, honey. You have to teach her to fetch."
She nods then concentrates where her dad is.
He cries out in pain as he could feel light advances towards him. "What is this?!"

 

He summoned the ball back to his hand and put it in front of her mouth. "You like it?" He hissed and ended up crashing headfirst into the wall he was aiming for next. He fell to the ground, unconscious.

 

The light dies out then she rushes to her dad. "Father!"
He stops then rushes to his grandfather while letting their prey go. "Nice going, kid. No wonder mom hates you in the first place."
"B-but...I didn't mean to..."

 

She teleported to her and picked her up. "Relax, he'll be fine. He's just knocked out."

 

She sniffles. "Is he going to wake up ok?"
"And what are we supposed to do with the traitor's cousin?"

 

"He should. Trust me, he's tough."

 

"Do you have something that will make me not feel my mother's emotions? I'm getting a headache again."
She nods with her head low.
