She sniffs for a suitable prey.
She shakes her head.

 

"Then what is it?"

 

The young Shiva hands the crystal flower to her summoner then she gives it to him.

 

"Thanks, I guess." He said, sounding confused.

 

She giggles and kisses him.

 

He chuckled and put the flower in his hair. "I look like even more of a girl than usual now, don't I?"

 

She frowns then shakes her head.

 

"It feels good being around another child that doesn't shun me. They all used to make fun of my hair and pull on it." He said as he combed through his long hair with his fingers.

 

She rests her back against his chest then joins him to comb his hair.

 

"They should be coming back soon." He licked the blood off his lips from his recent meal.

 

Tears welled up in her eyes.
She licks his cheek. "You missed a spot."

 

"What's wrong?" He asked as he brushed the tears off her face. "You too." He said as he licked the fur around her nose.

 

"No see pa n' ma." She said as she sniffles.
"I could've got that one." She said as she protested.

 

"Why don't you want to?" "Then why didn't you?" He retorted playfully.

 

"You n' Chi 'no see'."
"You didn't give me a chance." She retorts back.

 

He tilts his head in confusion. "You don't have to leave me if you don't want to."

 

"Why no see pa n' ma?"

 

"Your father's a bit out of his mind right now and as your brother told you before, your mother doesn't care about you anymore."

 

Her blue eyes flashes into red then grabs his arms.

 

"Um, what are you doing?"
