He scratches behind his ears.
She places her hand in between the two of them.

 

He whimpered softly. He wagged his tail.

 

"It's not fun when someone shares their emotions with you."
He pets him.

 

His tail wags faster.

 

"Besides, you know how sensitive Sephana is."

 

He pulled her closer.

 

She yelps in surprise.

 

He rests his head on her shoulder.

 

She pats his back. "List the problems we have so far."

 

"There's too many to list."

 

"Which one is more problematic?"

 

"Can't decide."

 

"Mine has got to be Malik."

 

"He's high on my list too."

 

She lowers herself to the ocean's floor. "Why is he a problem to us and how are we supposed to solve it?"

 

"The first part's easy. He causes more trouble for us."

 

"How are we supposed to make sure he doesn't cause trouble again without locking him up?"
"What are you guys talking about?"
He offers his hand to pet Seph.

 

"I'm not sure." "Malik." He rolled onto his back.

It's now Christmas break for me!

 

Lucky, mine starts tomorrow.
He pets Seph ackwardly yet gently.
