"It's not like I'm going to use that on you. Would it help if you take my hand?"

 

"Yes. Labs are never the same after you've been 'treated' in them."

 

She walks out of the lab and holds his hands. "I would like to have a child of our own."

 

"You already have Seph, you just have to find a way to bring him back."

 

"But you said he chose Strife over us."
"So tell me why I'm with you when we both know I get on Sephiroth's bad side?"

 

"'Cause you care about me." "Doesn't mean there isn't a way to have him come back. Besides, you having another child will just make him jealous, and sibling jealousy is one of the worst kinds."

 

She tilts her head.
"Fine, what do you want to do next?"

 

He shrugged. "Orochi tried to kill Sephana before she was born because his mother was going to pay more attention to her and Sephana hates Garnet because I pay more attention to her."

 

"But how can I gain what I lost? Why bother fighting?"
"Still want to cook?"

 

"I'm not really hungry anymore." "Just imagine you're fighting against Hojo. That's what I do."

 

She falls onto her knees with her head low.

 

He wrapped his arms around her. "Cheer up, Mom. Don't lose the will to fight. I would have never gotten out of that accursed tower if I did."

 

Her mind continues an endless track thought of Hojo.
"What about games?"

 

"Can we go see Demon King?"

 

He shudders. "We can. But..."
"No, not that. Please not that!"

 

"But what?" "Fight him!"

 

"Our last meeting, I was a puppet. He'll treat me same as last time."
She lost the battle then her head falls onto Chaos' shoulder.

 

"Then you can stay outside the room while I go meet him." He stroked her hair. "You did the best you could for now."

 

He teleports both of them outside of Demon King's room.
The shell cries silently.

 

He hopped out of his arms and went inside. "I'll go retrieve her mind." He said as he dove into his mom's mind.
